Diamond Select Marvel Select: Juggernaut Action Figure

I've never collected Marvel figures even though I've been a fan of the comics since I was a kid. As an adult, who loves the Marvel films, I still only thought of action figures as a kids thing. The Juggernaut changed that. I don't know how but I happened upon a video review of the Juggernaut on YouTube and I couldn't believe what I saw. This didn't look like a toy at all and yet had articulation like an action figure. Not only that but he looks exactly like I remember him from the X-Men comics. That's something most toys don't do. They look like toys. They're disproportionate, lack details and are cartoony looking at best. I've seen some solid looking figures in the Marvel Legends line but the Selects take it to a whole new level. These are premium figures that for once, make me feel like I'm really getting my money's worth. From head to toe, the Juggernaut is extremely well sculpted. He's proportioned correctly, has a menacing face, his helmet is the correct dome shape (instead of cone shaped like past versions) and along with his arm bands, is brushed to show scratches and other signs of wear. His clothing is the correct color and his boots look great all the way down to the soles which have treads on them. That's something rarely seen in an action figure. But this isn't a mere action figure, it's a work of art. Model quality sculpting with action figure posability. There was never anything close to this quality when I was a kid and even in recent years, action figures have rarely reached this level of detail. Only static models could do this but most of them were far from flexible. I also can't go without saying how big and heavy this guy is. He really has to be seen to be believed! He's so heavy, you'd think he was made of die cast metal. If I could change anything, I'd like his hands to move independently from his arms but it doesn't tarnish him for me. He's absolutely perfect and my high mark for figurines of this kind. It just doesn't get any better than this. He's also the first of my new collection. All this to say, the Juggernaut is an incredible figure and worth every penny paid for him. I've seen much smaller and less detailed figures going for more than this. This guy is absolutely worth it. I guarantee you'll be amazed by the sheer size and weight of him alone. While I wouldn't advise him for younger children to beat up with rougher style play, he's fine for older kids who take care of their things, young adults and big kids like me. Free him from his package, recycle it and put him out on display for the world to see. He's bound to draw double takes and comments in no time. For anyone interested in Marvel characters, models or action figures, the Juggernaut is a no brainer recommendation. As far as I'm concerned, this is as good as it gets.

My son has recently started watching/reading and loving the xmen franchise. He would constantly ask for a juggernaut figure. I having collected the orginal uncanny xmen figures when I was young, couldn't say no, I saw this figure and decided to buy it for his birthday gift. Received it and was amazed on actually how big and detailed he was, I was impressed so I ordered one for me as well to hold on to. On his birthday, he saw it and the look on his face, said it all, he is going to love this figure for a long time. Worth the money, and seems very sturdy for play. Would recommend for any juggernaut or marvel fan.

This Juggernaut figure is awesome! The details and paint look great, and it’s super sturdy with tons of articulation for cool poses. It’s about 9 inches tall. Definitely feels like a premium collectible. Perfect for any Marvel fan or desk display — worth every penny!

So. Ive been purchasing figsures for awhile. This one right here was a completely new experience for me. When I picked up the package I lost my mind at the weight of this guy. It has to be between 8 to 10lbs easy. The details are crazy. Ive always wanted this figure and believe it was worth the wait. It says eight years and up. To be honest I really don't believe this is a item most children would appreciate. Unless they're really into these type of things. Co.paring it to the other figures that I have has been crazy too. The original packaging was scratch and scuffed up but preserved the juggernaut very well. Overall great experience.

I think this will be your biggest action figure, by far. Juggernaut stands wider and taller than Colossus. It's thick and heavy too! All other action figures look puny compared to Juggernaut. The Amazon photo doesn't do it justice. The articulation is decent, but frankly, the muscles are so big that it really doesn't have a very wide range of motion. A statue (vs. action figure) would probably be better if you really wanted to see details that are unfortunately limited by the need for articulated joints. There are other versions of Juggernaut available, but most are small, oddly thin, or not really true to the original look and design. If you are a Juggernaut fan, and want a big, solid, detailed action figure (that may take two hands to pick up), this is the one for you. Spend the money.

I got the FedEx box and i was surprised how heavy it was. Once opened, i figured it was just the box and all the stuffing, but upon pulling the figure out i realized it's the Juggernaut who is so heavy. That tells me one thing, a lot of love must of been put into making this guy. He's a sturdy figure whose feet plant down due to the weight of his abdomen. Seriously, no worries about him tipping over by a slight tremor or a bump of a desk. He's about 9" tall. The detail is beautiful. He looks as mean as ever too. The helmet is molded around an actual face, so you can see into the mask. It turns a little to the left and right. His chest swivels as well. The arms move forward and back, side to side. There is a joint on his wrist as well to adjust his fists. His legs move forward and back and he has articulation in his knees and ankles as well. The paint job done is phenomenal as you can see every muscle on his body, as well as the studs around his helmet. I cannot express how great this figure is. Marvel collectors and fans of the X-men should get this guy right away.

I'm not joking when I say I can do arm curls with this figure. Very detailed and huge compared to the 6 or 7 inch figures...this is the Juggernaut B#@CH!🏆

Bought this figure a month back. A boehemian figure, its massive. The details are phenomenal, the best figure i own till date. Not very articulated though, but still u can put him in some good poses. Marvel select crushed the competition with this figure. Marvel legends dont stand parallel. Thanks to PBC distributors for the amazing price and good import time.

La figura es masiva y bastante pesada , las articulaciones son muy pocas, pero su esculpido es exelente , mide más que una Marvel leyends regular e incluye un pequeño diorama , lo conseguí en un remate de almacén , más sin embargo estaba en exelentes condiciones , 100% recomendado para fanáticos de x-men !!

Just a monstrously awesome figure; but don't drop it on your foot! Seriously this thing has some major league heft to it. If you want a Juggernaut and don't want to over-pay for some of the older versions, or chase down all of the figure parts for the current X-men Juggernaut Build a Figure wave then I would suggest this as a very good substitute to complete your X-men collection. While not as possible as the BAF Juggernaut- he has quite a few joints but because of his sheer mass he doesn't bend much at the knees and elbows- he is just marginally bigger, so he would still work with the Marvel Legends line as the Juggernaut is supposed to physically dominate most of the X-men depending on who is drawing him. I'm a bit split on whether or not he's appropriate for a younger child- the Marvel Select line while known for their great look, is also known for being a bit fragile at time- with this figure I don't think this is a problem, but like I said he's very solid and heavy, so the possibility for damage to others is there. Love the figure though- and I'd also recommend some of the other bigger Select figures like the Hulks (not the Ultimate Hulk though)
