MK Diamond 159103 MK-99 10-Inch Wet Cutting Continuous Rim Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor for Tile and Marble

I bought this despite the review that stated it was less than perfectly flat. I received the blade, and that is definitely so, although only slightly. Slow blade rotation by hand (when mounted) will confirm that to be the case.So I consulted local tile store experts and learned that is often the case, and that the real test is when the blade is turning. While spinning at speed, this blade is true, and cuts perfectly. I used it to cut ceramic tile and thick (1.25) stone counter top. It is a good value, and I would recommend it.

I've been working on my kitchen backsplash, bought a couple of blades from harbor freight and they worked fine. Harbor freight changed blades and packaging and the new ones won't cut. I knew MK made good saws so I thought this blade might be a step up. I couldn't have been more wrong. The blade I got was .015 out of round and about .020 out of flat, beat the heck out of my travertine and shook the saw while cutting. I made 2 practice cuts and put it back in the packaging and sent it back to Amazon, glad they have such a reasonable return policy.

I bought this blade reading amazon recommendations. Boy, did I make a mistake. I have been using the same tile saw for 7 years. The previous original harbor freight blade lasted 6 years tiling 6-8 houses and numerous small jobs, so I am not abusing the blade. This one barely lasted 6 months. The diamond is completely gone, unlike the HF blade which was replaced because it got bent.

This is a quality blade that cuts well but the shaft adaptor sucks. The hole is a little small and the adaptor is illfitted and difficult to get centered if your washers are cupped which most are. I was able to cut the vibration from being not centered to an acceptable level but it is still there.

Arrived fast and works great. Can not beat the price. Will get a couple more to have on hand for my friends tile projects.

The MK Diamond wet cutting 10" blade works perfectly! I am cutting large format (18") porcelain tile and the cuts have been consistently sharp and accurate. The wet saw I use is an inexpensive model, but the proper blade in it produces excellent results. The MK blade is well-machined to provide a precise fit to the saw arbor. The blade I replaced was worn and the chatter and heat buildup caused tile to fracture while cutting. The MK Diamond blade has remedied this problem. I recommend the MK Diamond blade for anyone cutting hard tiles on a wet saw.
