Love this Flatware! It’s larger and more substantial than most. The weight is impressively heavy. Purchasing 18/10 gauge is important.

This is some everyday that matches our older set. Nothing fancy but good weight and nice looking.

Extremely happy with these! We had a similar set purchased back in 2004 and it was time to get more since we had lost or destroyed quite a few pieces over the years! This set is the same quality, looks better and for a fraction of the price! Pottery Barn has a similar set that sells for $10 per utensil!

This Wallace flatware is beautiful, of a good weight and most everything about it makes for a beautiful table setting. The spoon design has changed however. The difference is noticeable when compared to the the Wallace Bead 18/10 service for 12 that I purchased in 2005. In the new set, the bowls of the tea and dinner spoons are deeper and a bit narrower. This is particularly noticeable when having soup or cereal. The flatter design of the older set is much more comfortable (to one's mouth) to use. The other change, to the handle of the table knife is it is no longer of a hollow design and thus isn't as balanced in use. The new service was made in Vietnam, while the older set is marked "China."
