Jelly Filled―18 Quilts from 2 1/2'' Strips: All Skill Levels

I was skeptical about buying the book. I am a “beginner” and most books are definitely not for beginners no matter what they say. This book was different . Right from the start it explained everything. The patterns are very well explained. I am grateful for the thorough and clear steps for every quilt. This book will definitely get me out of the beginner stage for sure!!!

I highly recommend this book. When I purchase a quilting book, often times, there are one or two patterns I like. All the patterns in this book are outstanding. Also, consider purchasing Charm School by Vanessa Goertzen along with this book.

I hate cutting pieces for quilts! This book offered several designs I plan on making plus gave cutting instructions for jellyroll 2.5 inch fabric and how yo cut regular yardage fabric.

I am a younger quilter and definitely lean towards modern or modern traditional quilts. I had a liberty of london jelly roll and was having trouble finding a good modern looking jelly roll pattern. I ended up buying this book and made my Liberty jelly roll into the sprinkles on top quilt. Very simple piecing, but I love the finished look. I liked one other pattern in here, Queen of Diamonds, and bought a Rifle Paper jelly roll and completed that quilt as well. Overall, I recommend this book!

Love this book. I ordered the one that uses charm packs and because I was able to do my very first quilt from it I knew this book would be as easy to use as the other and it is. Thank you. I have started making quilts and I love it.

Found easy patterns

As a beginner this book can be overwhelming

I have looked through this book several times and have several flagged to do. But have to finish the two wedding quilts first.

Although I haven’t yet made anything from this book, it is still a nice book to have.

Lots of designs to get your teeth in to. Looking forward to cracking on with some quilting

Nice selection of quilt patterns to use up your jelly rolls. Patterns are easy to follow and your end result is like that of the pattern photo but in your fabric choice.

The visuals were mostly unappealing!
