This lightweight and comfortable stool for hiking is indeed a good helper
This lightweight and comfortable stool for hiking is indeed a good helper. It comes with a case that has a handle,Packs small and light easy to carry. Indoor I can sit and take care of children,it's the perfect height for that and actually comfortable to sit. It's also very sturdy and folds up into a compact size. You can carry it with you to anywhere. Outdoor You can use this folding stool for fishing, park barbeques, traveling, camping, waiting in line, relaxing in the shade along the river and more. You can using this chair in many different settings.I love it so much,Highly recommend.

Great if you can't be on your feet for too long
I used it for traveling with plantar fasciitis. Standing for long periods of time can be very painful for me and I figured I'd be waiting on lots of lines. This saved me. It's a bit bigger closed than I hoped, but comes in a carrying case so can be carried separately and it's pretty light. It is a pretty low chair, so not for everybody, but certainly better than sitting on the floor. Kind of like sitting on a kitchen step stool. I'll grab it if I have to go to the post office where there might be a long line.

If you need to get down low without sitting on ...
If you need to get down low without sitting on the ground, these stools are the ticket. Compact and holds 252 lbs of me without a hitch.1 inch lower though, my quads are not lifting me up 😁

You get just what it says you will in the ad
You get just what the ad says you will get. I used this camping this weakend. I like it. It is just a little bit too low for me so I feel a bit like my knees are up near my chest. I would prefer on just a bit taller. But this stool is much sturdier than other I bought. It also takes up little space in my camper van when its folded up.

Small, light weight, very thin carrying case.
[2/6/2019] First photo is the stool in its case in my backpack next to my Switch. Second photo hopefully gives you an idea on how thin the carrying case material is.I've been looking for a smaller folding stool to bring with me when I go to events like PAX West or any convention that requires sitting in line for some time. While I have not brought it out into the field yet, I did test it in my room by sitting on it for thirty minutes at a time playing my Switch for about two hours. Something I would realistically be doing at said conventions. My build would be considered stocky, and the seat doesn't creak or feel rickety.Being 5'2", this shorter stool doesn't give me any trouble sitting onto/getting off of. It also comfortably fits into my every day backpack, something I appreciate because I've used taller stools and they'd always be a hassle to carry around, especially in crowds. The only thing that troubles me is that the carrying case it comes with is made of very thin material. Like pulling the drawstring closed might rip it, kind of thin. Also, usually don't do reviews this early, as I prefer to wait a couple months/uses before writing. Just didn't want to blatantly ignore the e-mails I've gotten to write one. Will update if there's anything to really update with? But for now I am content.

Great little folding seat
Great purchase. I bought it in preparation for a walking tour that I thought might be too much for me otherwise. It was perfect: weighs hardly anything, folds and unfolds in about three seconds, holds my weight (150 lbs.) safely, comfortable and sturdy. It sits a little low to the ground to be easy to get up from, but if it were higher it would probably be less stable and would weigh more, so it's a trade-off. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I got this just in time. I got it ...
I got this just in time. I got it to take it as a “back up chair” because some of the baseball tball fields don’t have bleachers. I take a chair but there isn’t one for my Dad so I got this in order to have one. It is low to the ground and you may need help getting up but it does keep your butt off the wet ground! I don’t suggest anyone heavy use it.

It's never available when i want it!
This little thing has been great! When the kids come on the camp, those little backsides are always in it. I originally bought this as a foot stool. (Unfortunately, my Kelty camp chair is not that comfortable) I find myself using this still ALOT. It's convenient when cutting wood, starting a fire, eating fireside, getting warm by the fire when I need to get close to the heat but stay comfortable and it's durable (200lbs of love here). Because it's lightweight, I toss it all around the campsite when i need to move. Super convenient and it comes with a drawstring bag. Get one.
