You know what I love about modern cars? I can use my phone instead of a proprietary map program (that cost more to upgrade than a new iPhone) to get to my destination. Waze is amazing! So look, I don't want three miles of cord from my phone to the dash where the fancy little spot is to lay my phone. The auto manufacture didn't account for three miles of lighting cable. Guess what I found? A short lighting cable the easily connects from the car to my phone and without any excess cable. WHAT???? It's some kind of a miracle. No it's just a better cable to work in your modern day car. It's durable and gets plugged in and disconnected several times a day without failing. Stop searching and add the cable to your cart so you can look for other stuff like 8'clock coffee. I love coffee and probably .... no defiantly more than this cable but the cable is still good.

I’ve gone thru my fair share of 10 foot charging cables for my iPhones in the past and this is by far my favorite. I got the gray 10 foot amazon basics charger and I’m very happy with it. It is thick and durable feeling and charges my phone at a good speed. It’s not slow like most of the other 10 foot chargers I’ve had in the past. It’s price is very reasonable too, I’ve bought in the past sets of five 10 foot chargers that were the same cost but weren’t as good quality and didn’t last me long. Although this charger is still new to me I’m pretty sure it will be lasting me a long time. Would definitely recommend this charger to anyone who asked me for my opinion on a good quality 10 foot charger.

I purchased this over a year ago and it's been by far the best Lightning cable I've ever owned. It still looks like it did the day I got it and I'm not gentle with it -- I frequently plug and unplug it, throw it in a backpack or jacket pocket and it gets used to charge my iPhone and Powerbeats Pro case (and BeatsX before that) daily at home and at work. Everyone I let use it notice how durable and premium it looks and feels and I strongly recommend it over Apple's official offerings. While failure can happen with any cable, the design prevents the fraying that official Apple cables are subjected to and it's MFi certified so it won't give you the "unsupported accessory" messages you might see with cheaper, uncertified cables. I hope Amazon will make a Lightning to USB-C version soon!

This cord looks great. It seems very sturdy with a thick coating around the wire to keep it protected, which for a charger is a must because phone cords need to withstand lots of use. The connection in the phone is one of the best I have seen. The charging rate on such a long cord is also fantastic. I am not sure how much that is affected by build quality, but it literally charged my phone quicker than a percent a minute (while in use). That seems great. My biggest flaw in this is the connection to the phone itself. Unlike many cords, it easily unplugs from the phone. For me this is an issue. This might be good when you drop a phone and you want it to disconnect so that the charging part doesn’t break off in the phone (I have never experienced this but have seen it happen) but it also makes it finicky to use the phone while charging. My old 10 foot cord would stay plugged in much better, as do Apple cords. This can easily come unplugged while being used, which is the main reason why I bough such a long cord so this is unfortunate. I bought the long cord so that I can use my phone while charging and this charger fails at its primary purpose for me. Of note is that the Velcro is that really clingy type, so just be aware and always curl it up so you don’t snag clothing or whatever on it. A nice touch, but just be aware. I like the cord but it also doesn’t perform how I really wanted it to. I like it to an extent but wish it plugged into the phone more snugly. If that is not a concern for you than this will be 5 stars. For me it is good and of high quality, so I’m keeping it but wish that it stayed plugged in better.

I purchased the both 3 ft. and 10 ft. models of this cable in November 2018. The 10 ft. model had developed a short by March 2019, and it continues to get worse, causing the charging to disconnect and reconnect. The 3 ft. model has had no issues as of yet. Kudos to Amazon for replacing under warranty, even though I had to walk the Amazon customer service rep through the process, as her first response was that the item was out of it’s return window. If this happens to you, just kindly point out it is an AmazonBasics product that is still under warranty. I’m assuming the rep had to look further into the Order Details to determine I was correct about being under warranty. Also notable is there was a warranty option to select in the iPhone app that said I “may” be able to return until November 25, 2019. However, this cable’s description indicates a 2-yr warranty for this particular product, so I’m assuming I would actually have until November 25, 2020 to make a warranty claim. Finally, this experience wouldn’t deter me from purchasing another cable just like it, as 2 years is probably a realistic expectation for the useful life of the cord. Besides, nowadays sketchy quality control is just a fact of life. Look at any product review and you will see it’s a crap-shoot. That’s why the Amazon warranty make it well worth the purchase. UPDATE: I got my replacement cable and it’s nearly unusable, so I combed through some of the negative reviews and found it’s probably not a short in the cable, but and undersized connector that rocks from side-to-side. That’s not to say my 3-yr-old iPhone 6s Plus doesn’t have some wear on the Lightning port, but I have another brand of 10’ cable of a similar construction, and it has no issues at all. My suggestion is that if you order this AmazonBasics cable and it rocks side-to-side or front-to-back at all, I would immediately return it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the other brand of cable I mentioned because it’s no longer sold on Amazon (or anywhere else that I know of).

More than a year ago I purchased a 10' AmazonBasics cord for use in my car and for overnight charging. I have an iPhone 6S Plus (not giving up my headphone jack until this phone completely dies!). My old cable is in near-perfect condition so I got a second cord for work. I've had it for two months now and it's a lifesaver when I listen to podcasts and music at the office. It's long, it's durable, it charges perfectly. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned this cord's thickness is akin to that of an HDMI cable. I have no concerns about it falling apart--a nice change from the Apple cords that seem to split so quickly. I definitely recommend this.

We seem to go through a lot of charging cables, in that most of them eventually get lost. I signed into Amazon to order some more and found this 2-pack of AmazonBasics Lightning to USB A charging cables. They had good ratings (including over 13,000 reviewers) and were reasonably priced (about $10/cable), so I ordered them. They work well. I’m using one right now on my iPhone 11. I much prefer these 6-foot cables over the 3-foot ones. Since we have different types of cables for other electronics, I label most cables with a permanent marker denoting what type it is, in this case “A” (see photo). It helps me keep track of which cable is for what.

I bought many different brands both cheap and expensive iphone/ipad lighting cables over the years back to the iphone 5 and they all worked fine for about 2-6 months, but after a few ios updates the phone/pad would stop recognizing the cables. However my iphones and ipads always recognize these amazon basic cables (knock on wood). I have 4 of these and been using them for almost two years, they many be cheap and not the best, but they have not failed me yet and that’s why they are the best for now.

Habe mir dieses Kabelset als Ersatz im Auto und für Reisen gekauft. Kabellänge ist voll ausreichend und lässt sich dank Klettband gut verstauen.

Normalerweise meckert mein iPhone immer bei Zubehör, welches nicht aus dem Hause apple stammt. Bei Diesem Kabel gibt es kein Gemecker und kannProblemlos benutzt werden.

I ordered this cable (10 feet), as I like to still use my phone whilst it’s charging, and a standard 1 m cable is too short. It’s just arrived, and I’m not disappointed - quite the opposite, it’s the best quality I’ve ever had, definitely in a league of its own. When I ordered it, I didn’t realise just how thick it would be compared to standard Apple/other cables. The quality is superb - well worth the small increase in price from a standard cable. Seems to be fast charging too using the Apple plug! I literally can’t find any fault with it at all - perhaps being a thicker cable, it may be heavier to carry around, although I’m not planning to do this, as I use my 1m Apple cable for that!

After reading the reviews I thought I’d give these a try and I’m not sorry. These are awesome. We have two in the lounge as you never know when your phone needs some juice. We have two children and these cables just lay on the floor and often get trodden on (We have a hard laminate floor) or pulled out of the usb plug And they are still going strong. They get used several times a day and still act like new. The colour matches the decor too so all good.
