12 PCS, 3/16", Black and Gold Coated Twist Drill Bits, Pack in Plastic Bag

I use these to drill pilot holes in metal. Dip the bit in oil then drill the hole. 1/4" steel needs a second dip. This saves me from dulling the name brand set. Keep it oiled, go slow and bit will stay sharp. The bits I did dull were my fault. Would buy again but I doubt I will need to.

Install cabinets every day…hardware etc.. I don’t cry when I bend, break, or wear them out. Maybe go through 3-4 a week drilling mainly maple 1.5” stiles and rails…maybe 250-300 holes… unless you hit a Sheetrock screw finding studs…then she’s done.

Best 3/16" Drill Bit we've used in a few years. Shows there out right now, but I'm waiting to order a few dozen more.We use to pre-drill Tek Screws and to pre-drill for larger size bits so hole is exactly were we want it.

These have worked well for drilling holes for rivets on my stock car, seem to take abuse well. Have only had one catch and actually snap in half. They go dull a little faster than I would expect hence the 4 star rating
