I contacted the seller and they sent 2 replacement units which are working fine. Clearly the seller's goal is customer satisfact
Bought a pack of 4. The product and its performance matches the description provided. Out of the 4 units one did not work. I contacted the seller and they sent 2 replacement units which are working fine. Clearly the seller's goal is customer satisfaction. Each unit has 2 LEDs in it and dimly illuminates a small space (one step of a stair for example). Don't expect to illuminate your front or back yard with these as the light can not be bright enough with just 2 LEDs. I have them mounted along my back fence line to get some ambient light on my flower bed. And these units are serving my purpose.

Two Stars
Perfect for what we needed them for. But one out of four did not work. Disappointed.

TSSS Solar Power Step Lights
I already reviewed this, but this is the 2nd set we ordered. They are great at first, but gradually seem to get dimmer and hold their charge for shorter and shorter periods of time. The look really nice around the deck and are hoping the last thru the winter, but...

Change the batteries
There are several versions of these lights--4 pack, 8 pack, 10 pack etc. One reviewer recommended replacing the cheap batteries that come with the lights with Amazon Basics or Eneloop NiMH batteries. Seemed like a good idea so I ordered some. Others who take this advice should be aware that these each take a single AAA (NOT AA) battery.I'm using these indoors so no idea about weather resistance but will probably order some for outdoors. FWIW the light is a very cool (temp) blue, almost purple. If you want a warm color temp this is not for you.Delivered in plain white boxes with no printing on the outside and no literature inside. Not rocket science to figure out out to install (make a paper template), turn on (push button on the back) or open it up to replace batteries. Also no manufacturer info in case you get a dud so buy from Amazon.Only had these installed one day but they do what they're supposed to and throw a lot of light. Last for several hours right out of the box but it remains to be seen how the charge/discharge cycle works and I do plan to replace the batteries with the better Amazon Basic or maybe Enerloop versions.

The lights were for our deck and they work terrific! Would recommend them to anyone who wants deck lighting with no wires.
The lights are exactly what I needed for our deck. They are just great!!! The individual I received them from was very prompt in replacing one that didn't work. Thank you very much Cassie!

Great Construction, Mediocre Performance
I wish the packaging came with instructions and tips...came in a plain box and you're pretty much on your own. The installation part wasn't the problem, I wanted to know about the enclosed battery. Currently I have about 25 battery assisted solar lights around my property that work very well. Well it's clear that you aren't supposed to get into the casings of these lights and maintain the battery. Turns out they are rechargeable. The switch is located on the backside which means if you do want to turn them off you need to actually remove them from your steps and press the button, kinda weird. As for the light, wish I paid attention better to the pics and reviews. All of my solar lights are warm light, these are very white/blue and really stand out. But they do the job very well. My steps leading to the back yard from the deck were very dark at night and now my problem is solved. They say they charge even on cloudy days, but don't expect a long charge. Even on sunny days, like today, they aren't that great. It is 9:23pm in the mountains of Pennsylvania. We had sun all day. I just checked, for the sake of this review and only 2 of the lights are still lit and dimly at that. I was hoping for more out of these lights, I have a dog I take out to do his business and our last trip out is usually around 11pm. By then the lights are out. Bummer.
