Golden MountainThai Seasoning Sauce - 6.7 oz x 3 bottles

We got this for a recipe we very much enjoy and wanted to try at home.. It is wonderful.They came well packaged and quickly. So pleased with both flavor and speed of order.

Never received this. I have tasted it before and it makes a big difference in fried rice, but alas I have to buy it from somewhere else as my sauce never came. Maybe I'll have better luck if I purchase directly from Thailand -- yup that's a good idea.

old and out of date, leaking

This does have a similar flavor to soy sauce. It's slightly sweeter (but not by a huge degree at all) to "pure" soy that is just soybeans, salt and water though. It otherwise isn't bad, but doesn't really strongly stand out.This would be a four star review except for the following. The plastic used on all three bottles for the lid is VERY cheap. On all three, there is a ring tab pull to open the bottle under the lid. In all three cases, the ring just broke off. The plastic almost feels more like wax. I had to take a knife and poke my own opening in each case to use this product.

I frequently need Golden Mountain sauce for cooking many oriental dishes. I use my wok quite a bit and this is often hard to find. I'll keep looking though. You can find it much cheaper in a local oriental grocery. Unfortunately there are none near my home.

This is great seasoning to use on many things-- If you use Soy Sauce this just adds great flavor. I live sprinkling it on roasted veggies, or pan frying meat.

Takes me back to my days in Thailand. Good food.
