Good Product!
While it’s not braided and there are cheaper aux cables out there, this one gets the job done reliably and without fuss.

Great cable--with a hidden feature
This six foot cable worked perfectly and is well made, but it was too short, and instead of doing the right thing and exchanging it for a longer one I strung it between the computer and the TV, letting it hang a few feet above the floor. I now have a ten foot cable that lies on the floor, so I'm just copying the party of the review of that cable that talks about what happened when I tripped heavily over the too-small one:"The AmazonBasics cable is very sturdy, but I did manage to break the first one I bought because at 6 feet it was too short to lie on the floor, making it inevitable that I would eventually trip over it. Frankly I was happy that the displayport plug on the 6 foot cable broke off instead of knocking the computer to the floor. Fortunately the 10 foot cable lies on the floor, and now I'm a happy little camper. I have several other AmazonBasics cables which have never given me any trouble, so I'm confident that this is the last cable I'll need."As you can see I consider it a feature, not a bug, that the mini displayport plug broke off instead of crashing my computer to the floor after I blundered heavily into it. You may prefer that your cables survive your equipment, but that's up to you...

Work just fine
I returned it but it was not because I did not like it. It was because I did not need it anymore. I recommend it if you are look for quality and stylish, also the price is not bad.

Nice length
I like this cord because its longer than others that I have purchased. I use it almost every day and it lasted about 6 months. It finally failed right where the black cord enters the plugin end of the cord. For me that is where every headphone cord fails. My advice is to buy 4 of these and keep 3 as backups. The long length is the best feature. 4 of these should last most people 2 years or more, and you will be very happy when you remember you bought 3 spares. When you use the 4th cord, just order 4 more, right then.I will buy this one again simply because I can plug it into my desktop stereo speakers and lean back in my chair to listen to videos while leaning back in my comfortable rolling chair. 8 feet length is GREAT!

Perfect replacement for speaker system audio cables!
The Amazon Basics 3.5mm Aux Audio Cable saved my Logitech 2.1 speaker system! The plug on my original speaker wire was bent after being pulled out incorrectly, and this cable spared me from having to buy a whole new set.Works perfectly, and the audio is on par with the speaker set when it was brand new.

Returned, but Impressed by the Quality
I had to return the Amazon Basics 3.5mm Aux Audio Cable as it ended up being unnecessary for me. However, I want to note that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cable. The sturdy gold-plated plugs ensure a reliable connection, and the 8-foot length proved to be convenient for various situations. Although I didn’t use it, I’m confident it would have performed well. If you’re in need of a reliable audio cable, this option is worth considering.

fits skinny jacks n' works well
i currently use an htc one m8 as my phone. anyway, my phone's cover/case has a small hole for the headphone jack. the placement of the jack kind of makes it hard for case/cover manufacturers not to make that hole small. however, that small diameter makes it so that many 1/8" (3.5mm) plugs don't fit into the headphone jack. that's annoying, really annoying. i managed to buy some short coupling cables (male.to.female) to help with this, but those products were poorly made with bad strain relief and failed quickly. i was hoping not to waste too much more money but find a more permanent solution. this turned out well. i use this amazon basics 3.5mm (1/8") male.to.male cable in my car to connect my phone to the stereo. it works great. i'm using the 8.foot cable, which is a bit too long for what i mostly use it for... but i figure this will allow me to pass the cable on to someone in the backseat if the need ever arises. this is a sturdy, well.built cable.
