Good back up bottom E strings that do what you need them to do

Great deal on bulk singles, here's the kicker of all the of brand bulk deals these seem to be the only string made of ferrous material suitable for magnetic pickups such as electric guitar. Not too generous in length but if you're not a totally useless mega-wrapper, you're good. Tail bead can be tightened before string-up, tried both ways both fine. rides well for heavy handers and blues clowns. Tested and approved, great deal.

Good points and bad points here.Good points:- (A) Great value - if like me the only string you ever need to replace is the high E, then this pack gives you 20 of them! Also at a very decent price. Saves having to buy a pack of 6 strings and only using the high E string from it!(B) Easy to use (and to string guitar) and seem quite durable.Bad point:- the sound is quite "tinny" or "brassy" and not the same as my previous string. It is bearable however, and I am just going to put up with it, since I'm only a beginner. If I was a proficient player however, I would want a more "professional" deeper sound.Yer pays yer money and yer takes yer choice! But 4 stars for excellent value.

They tuned and held their tuning and have a good bright sound. Twenty strings for around £8. What's not to like?

I bought these as I only needed high E strings, I was excited as I thought they would be perfect,However the strings don’t last too long, you get what you pay for unfortunately.

I have no problems with these strings. Sound good, last well all for a reasonable price.

Really good product, came on time. Its helping to recycle the other leftover strings which never break (the G D A bottom E strings. These strings are very tuneful good sustain. Give them a try.

How many times have you put on new strings and by accident broke the high E 009 and had to put on the old one that you threw in the garbage. This solves all those problems plus the strings are as high-quality is the Ernie Ball brand I use.

I generally play a Les Paul strung 9-46, and, like more than a few of you out there, I occasionally break the high E, and sometimes on a set that's barely broken in. I was a little skeptical about this product, and some of the reviews are quite negative. Well, my experience so far has been just great. First of all, these are spot-on .009 - I measured them with a micrometer. Next, each is individually hermetically sealed - not even the really-expensive strings do that. The tone is just fine; someone else here pointed out that high E's of different brand and composition sound pretty much same (I generally use stainless-steel or cobalt, and the strings in this set do indeed sound pretty much like those). Which brings me to - durability. Hard to say, as I have relatively few tunes on these, but then I did mention I'm not exactly gentle on guitar strings above, right? Regardless, the ball ends are nicely wound, and I suspect these things come out of the same Chinese factory that everyone else uses. Anyway, bottom line: highly recommended and a great value, and I really didn't expect be writing a review of these that said that. Get some!
