Double Duel (Hot Wheels)

I purchased this book for my son when he was just learning to read. This book had just the right mix of words he already knew along with words that were new to him, so it was still a little challenging. The book kept his attention, as I've listened to him read it many times.

My friend's child really like Hot Wheels but, according to my friend, already has a ton of hot wheels and didn't need more for his birthday. Since I like to give books as gifts to children anyway, I was really excited to find a Hot Wheels themed book. The illustrations are nice, the story is about teams of cars racing each other on a race course. The 'drivers' aren't pictured so it truly is a book about Hot Wheels! This book, along with another in the series themed around dinosaurs, was a big hit!

My son asked for this after reading it in his Kindergarten class. He read the whole thing, every word. Perfect level for him.

My son loves these books and will often sit and read them himself. I am definitely on the lookout for more.

The great-grandsons loved it. They are six year old twins and anything Hot Wheels is their favorite thing in the whole world.

In a world with very few hot wheels books I am glad I found one here!

There are so many early elementary readers that love these books. They love these books because of the Hot Wheel theme , but they are easy enough for them to read.
