This Viva Medi Bariatric Wheelchair is self propelled and features solid rear wheels with hand rims. With a 20 seat width, the Durable steel frame features a double cross bar for added strength and comes in an attractive chrome finish. The wheelchair incorporates desk arms which are padded for maximum comfort. These angled armrests are ideal for when sitting at a table and are also removable for easy transfer. Removable, height adjustable swing away footrests are included to make entering and exiting the chair easier and heel straps are also supplied for maximum support. 20INCH VIVA WHEEL CHAIR.
It is great looking sturdy chair BUT extremely heavy to push then when you have a 20st. plus person in it , it makes it really hard work, Also unless you have a very large car or van it is almost impossible to get it in and it takes two people to do it as it does not dismantle except for the foot rests you think for an item such as this they would use quick release wheels also sides could be made to lift off,I'm sure that would not be a job when , developing it I am quite sure that in this day of age you use CAD.CAM. Hope this will be of help to others thinking of buying this product.. Recent purchaser ROB..

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money. This chair is both strong and well made, extra wide for comfort, folds down for easy storage and can be height adjusted to suit. excellent value and service.

It is nice and sturdy and strong
It is nice and sturdy and strong. very easy to propel. The down side is it`s very heavy, and difficult to get into the back of my car. Other than that,I found it very comfortable and very able to carry my weight, it`s ok.
