Looks great!
I’m really happy with how this turned out, was very straightforward to change over - I followed a step by step video tutorial online! Case is good quality! And has a nice feel to it!

You must do this!
Absolutely thrilled with this kit. Just installed it over the weekend and expected the worst to be honest, as my eyesight is not what it was and I'm not exactly known for my steady hand. However, with a bit of patience and forward thinking, not to mention a good clear space and very good lighting, this was largely trouble-free. I'd read all the reviews beforehand and bought a separate console disassembly kit as advised, which came with very useful spudgers and tweezers as well as the proper screwdrivers. It does add a cost to the price you pay for upgrade, but really, even factoring that in it's well worth it. The Switch now looks amazing and completely refreshed. By the end of it I'd surprised myself that I could do this and I think if I can, then I'm very sure you can too. It's not easy and I would advise patience at the trickier bits - I had particular fun with the ribbon cable for the trigger on the right joycon. But just take your time and keep thinking that teeny pesky ribbon WILL go back in! Proper tweezers are invaluable here, as is a good tutorial video on YouTube. I recommend the FetchingTech one since he talks you through most of it very well indeed. Once you've done it though you'll feel proper chuffed with yourself. I've now bought the SNES style dock shell to match and cannot wait to see it all done. Awesome, well made product that will absolutely put a smile on your face!

Worth a Buy
This make my Switch look beautiful. The feel of the joy cons feel better than the stock, it has a more rubbery feel. Its durable not scratches yet and its been thrown in my bag on a daily basis. Very good value for money. The fit of the parts are perfect you can tell care has gone in to making them fit perfect. It works how its meant to. The only thing i would say is that installation of the joy cons can be fiddley and may take longer than expected.

Looks good, feels rubbery
Looks great once everything is shell swapped from the original but the joycons are very fiddly, very fragile in places and it's a bit of a nerve wracking experience. There's lots of video guides made by people online to know what you're in for and how to complete the transfer. Take things slow and be VERY careful; I've seen social media posts of people breaking the joycon battery connector clean off the board during shell swaps and other general repairs. It does have a slightly rubbery coating to it which does feel good right now but I do have concerns about its longevity as I once had an MP3 player with a similar rubber coating that dissolved into a sticky mess after around ten years in storage so here's hoping this finishing treatment avoids the same fate. Does come with a bunch of optional replacement screws (which I didn't use), although I didn't see any replacement screw for the kickstand so make sure you don't lose that original screw and the metal clip for it when swapping the back part of the LCD Switch.

Looks awesome.
Looks awesome. Took me about 6 hours all in, but worth it.

80s look
Being a late 80s baby, I had many hours playing my SNES as a kid and loved the controller's look, so I had to have this case. After checking the reviews and watching a couple of videos, I decided to give it a go. The install of this kind was a first for me and took me a couple of hours because of the fiddly ribbon cables, but it looks really cool once completed, and I wish I had done it sooner. While I had it apart, I swapped out the analog sticks, so it was kind of two jobs completed in one 😂

This turned my well worn, 4 year old switch, into a shiny new console.
Love it. - It's not easy or quick - It's not difficult - just fiddly The console backplate is super easy to change - the joy-cons are a fair bit harder - the right joy-con in particular will take longer to do due to it having the Amiibo reader and the IR camera inside. Worth it though. I will definitely be getting the shells with the D-pad for my 2nd set of Joycons.

Good bar one issue
Well, this shell is great to work with, everything's within tolerance and fits perfectly together and over the Switch. The kit comes complete with everything you need to a reshell, including screws and every button. I'm giving it 4 stars however for 2 small problems of the same issue - the screw holes. 2 of the screw holes were not formed structural very well and stripped out the inner plastic. And no, I wasn't being heavy handed, and yes, I used the correct (new) screws. The core immediately started to strip out a thin reel of plastic, so the screw would not tighten. Luckily it was a simple fix of using a slightly oversized screw to cure the issue. Maybe it was just a bad shell.

I BROKE MY JOYCONS DOING THIS BUT I HATE JOYCONS SO YAY

Ottimo materiale, design iconico!

An amazing and decently easy way to customize the Switch. This product includes some tools and nice screwdrivers, amongst them the one you'll need to unscrew the proprietary Nintendo Y screws. It's very nice that you don't have to buy anything else and everything comes in one package. First things first, you need to take some time aside before you attempt to do this project. I was doing it pretty slowly and did not time myself, but it did for sure take me more than 1 hour. I decided to change the case since I was going to be replacing my joysticks with the GuliKit ones and was going to open the console anyway. On their website, you'll find video instructions on how to perform the shell swap. The instructions were super clear and showed every single step perfectly! You will not have to mess around with the screen at all, it's all very simple steps. There are some complicated moments where you have to disconnect some ribbon cables carefully, but besides that everything else is pretty smooth. The plastic of the case feels very smooth to the touch and the buttons are okay too. I have not used it that much yet so I can't say if it scratches easily; mine has not scratches yet so I'll assume it's good. I have decided to keep the original OLED backplate because I like the kickstand more, and it looks good with the design anyway. Good weekend project, nice project, clear instructions, great custom look! 10/10
