Wanted this to improve brightness work.

Dimmer than 3.45W bulb but 10% of current
Using a 4 cell Nicad lantern giving 5.3 V fully charged (Nominally 4x 1.2V = 4.8V) a 4.6V 0.75A bulb drew 0.7A, and these drew 0.08A. The light was noticeably dimmer but will last an awful lot longer per charge, and may well be brighter with normal cells... You pays you money and takes your choice. These are polarised - they only work with the +ve centre. All 4 worked. Arrived very swiftly.

Excellent replacement torch bulbs.
These are a drop-in replacement for a P13 bulb. Brighter than a filament bulb with a noticeable bright spot in the centre. As this is a pack of 4, at £1.25 a bulb they seem excellent value.

LED Bulbs
Good upgrade for my torches.

Didn't work in my torch.
Bought as a replacement for an incandescent bulb in a 3xD cell torch (4.5V). The bulbs have an identical fitting to the one being replaced but none of them worked (not a glimmer!). The old bulb still works fine and I checked the connections with a meter. Disappointed, I returned them to Amazon for a refund.

Perfect Replacement for filament bulbs
Excellent replacement fit for P13 filament bulbs. Bright light even with depleted batteries. Slightly blue "LED" light, focused central beam.
