What a great read!
I loved book 1, book 2 was a bit slower to start but ended up super steamy & moved the history line along well! I never felt Alex was weak in book 3, I think he learned compassion and compromise I think it’s more powerful when the Alphas are able to concede that maybe they aren’t the know all end all. That they can still learn a-bit by following sometimes instead of always leading. I little too much back story and twists and turns, lost me after say the 4th twist. Just took away from the story a rough but other than that? This was a great read! I couldn’t put it down and now I’m looking to see what else she has written as I’m officially a fan of this new author!

Mix of werewolves and magic in one creature
This was my first werelock. This book was different than any other normal PNR I’ve read bc the werewolves also have magic which is cool. It was a good story mostly and kept me reading but it fell flat for me a lot. So many questions, not enough resolved.-PARANORMAL- wolf shifters with magic abilities like teleporting or altering memories, etc.-H: was possessive, and in the beginning mean.-h: cries a lot in the beginning, asks a bunch a questions, naive and sweet. Virgin-their is cheating. He “explains” it and they weren’t together really but for me it was after they discovers they were mates, even though they fought it, and even though he had a reason- I almost stopped reading but kept going.-drama- everyone sleeps with someone, kisses someone else, just ALOT lol. It seems like Rh sometimes but it’s a MF-wasn’t really any good groveling. I mean he treats her like crap, cheats and yes he says sorry and all that but idk lacked for me.-was steamy but actual S doesn’t happen till like 60% in. Lots of dirty words and steam and finger player before hand but slow in the bedroom. This was good in the sense it was different and kept me reading but I doubt I will read again or buy any other ones in the series.

A wonderfully addictive series.....
I loved this series ..this is the paranormal genre at it's best...it is dark, with the werelocks being more antiheroes than heroes, exciting to read and so funny there is so much great humour captured within these pages....in many ways this is an age old story of family loyalty, infidelity, love, lust and ultimately a struggle between two powerful warring factions...but the skill of the author to create a believable alternative world with magnificent and despicable magical beings gives it a refreshing and original makeover....Alex, the male lead, is the biggest and baddest werelock of them all! He commits some heinous crimes and behaves like a complete and utter douche at times but there is something so appealing and sexy about him..... as for the heroine, Milena, she is feisty, funny and holds up relatively well considering she is exposed to an alternative world of which she had no prior knowledge or experience.... a world which is full of danger and malevolence....The characters in this book are so well written and the relationships and interactions between them all complicated and fascinating ....Alex's family are fabulous their exchanges and their sibling rivalries are hilarious but they are also loyal, loving and protective of those they care about..I particularly love his two brothers Remy and Alcaeus; despite their dubious morals and arrogance there is something very attractive and entertaining about their personalities......The werelocks and the world they inhabit has a comprehensive back story; throughout the series the lore, legend and history of the werelocks is described in detail which is intriguing but also complex at times...I came to the conclusion that a family tree and relationship summary would have helped at some points as more pivotal characters were introduced and held sway on the ongoing events...This is a captivating paranormal romantic series both magical and dark infused with plenty of humour.....there is darkness and steamy, dirty sex and the actions of the werelocks are often reprehensible but to me they are all perfectly imperfect...although this is the end of the trilogy there are clearly more stories waiting in the wings for me to devour....a wonderfully addictive series that just got better and better.....

3.5 rounded up
I have so many thoughts on this collection, most of them mixed. On one hand, the world building and mythology of combining warlocks and werewolves is fascinating, on the other hand - the FMC, Malina, annoyed me far more than she appealed to me. Perhaps I am used to reading PNR’s and UF’s that feature strong female leads who kick @ss and make no apologies, but Malina just came across as weak and feeble.... wushu washy in, as they say here, a Pollyanish type way. There were redeeming qualities, sure, ones that drove the plot forward - her pure heart, forgiving nature, etc. - but most just felt immature, forced and vapid. Honestly, I enjoyed the periphery characters far more than the main ones, especially Kai. Oh, and the Springer’esque interactions of the pack? THAT forgives most faults the FMC brought to the table, it’s funny and prime. Worth reading just for that alone.

Love paranormal romance?
Honestly, can't say I've read a book (well in this case it’s a trilogy) about Werelocks (superweres), that has what I can only describe as, pure unadulterated angst running from start to finish.Don’t get me wrong this is not a grammatically badly written book, far from it. It is well written but and, this is a BIG but the author really went OTT on finding soooo many adjectives to use for sexual parts, emotions, facial expressions, stances, I could go on and on, it was a veritable smorgasbord of descriptions that had me in the end doing the dreaded ‘skimming’ coz it just becomes, for want of a better word… boring. As for the sex, I love that as much as the next reader but in this novel, well, it was definitely a bit ‘de trop’ coz that’s when you can end up losing track of the story as in the 2nd novel, she just kept ‘slotting it in’ (pun intended) at every opportunity. The entire 3 stories are built around anguish feelings. You’ve got 3 half brothers and, a half sister who are constantly beating the ever-loving hell out of each other, their weird relationship is mostly based on absolute total angst, whether it’s when they are happy and having a good time, having a ‘casual’ conversation’ or, reminiscing with each other, you name it there’s angst involved, and it’s every few blooming sentences! Right from the get go it dives right in with trauma, for instance, the Alpha meeting his ‘mate’ for the first time, major angst, the entire and I mean the entire love story is totally based around nothing but angst. The sex? Angst, and, that’s before they ‘do the deed’ and then after? Yep you guessed it, more angst. By the time I finished the trilogy I’d bitten all my nails off I was so tense. Needless to say the story ended with a ‘spin-off’ move onto the next ‘angst' basically, continuation-follow-on’ story and let me assure you that the angst continues! So, now you know why I gave it a 2 star;1) It rambled on too much with the angst2) OTT from the 2 novel (and onwards) with sex stuck in every few sentences and I mean its pages and pages of the ‘build-up’ elucidations on pre-entering the ‘zone’ it just went on and on and on. Would have been better to have cut it back some and kept the story pumping (pun intended).

Complicated but hugely enjoyable read
Very good opening paragraphs which led me into a complicated story. Make no mistake about it, this is complicated and it is full of dialogue rather than descriptive stuff. This means that it reads like constant conversations but is still interesting and quite enthralling most of the time. Unlike another reviewer I did not mind the sex scenes but I was constantly irritated by the amount of crying our heroine did, which was a lot. If I have any complaint it's that the whole story was quite complicated and you have to pay attention all of the time. I am really glad I bought these books and would recommend to anyone who wants to read something just that little bit different.

Sherlock evolutions
First of all, this is an adults only collection due to the sexual content, but this aside it is a great story, how Antoine can come up with this storyline is beyond me, but wow, what a story, impossible to put down

Loved this series. Can't wait for the next one.
This was a series I couldn't put down. The back-story is well laid out with so many twists and turns thatthe surprises just keep on coming. My compliments to the author for keeping track of all the characters and events. The dialogue and interaction between the main characters was hilarious and made me giggle more than once. This story takes werewolves to the next level and I loved it.

Unexpected brilliance
I wasn't expecting much from this, just a fun new take on werewolves at a cheap price. But I got so much more!! The lore in this series is so complex but explained just right so it doesn't get confusing. The plot asks 3 new questions for every 1 it answers right until the end. And the main character, Milena, is believable!! She reacts how you would expect a normal person to react and it's refreshing to see that.
