Laljee Godhoo Hing (Asafoetida) 50gms

I use this asafoetida in almost all my Indian cooking and it has become an essential spice in my kitchen. Doesn't smell like onions or garlic to me, it smells like blossoms from a curry tree (Bergera koenigii)

This is 100% asafoetida, if know anything about this herb. smells fresh, I have purchase this before from a near by international store. It last a little over a year. Once the smell is gone, it time to re-purchase. Yes I will buy this produce again, but this time from a black own business contributor.

Love this stuff. It makes all the difference when making lemon rice. It does have a strong smell and taste….so a little goes a long way. I also store it in a bag and store the bag in a jar. However, this is magic when it’s needed. Soooooo good. Highly recommended.

Managed to keep the price low, only went up about 10% in about 2.5 years and same quality

My kitchen has never smelled worse. I knew this was an intense spice but I put inside two plastic bags in a bottom drawer and my kitchen still freaked. They need a more sealed packaging.
