You can use a copper basin. There is no requirement for the basin.

How do you clean the arrays?

I've used two methods: Soak in Apple cider vinegar for 30 minutes to 2 hours, rinse, and use a hair blow dryer to dry the water off (keeps it from rusting). Or, you can use the same method except use a Citric powder mixed with water from HealthandMed to soak for 1-2 hours, rinse, and blow dry. I like the Citric powder best.

Can you tell me what the A means and why the machine beeps while in use?

This has a dual operation feature. In other words, two people can use the machine at the same time. Therefore there is a side A side B for each person to have their own control over the machine. It beeps when the amperage is greater than 2.5, but I found It beeped when the amperage was 2.2 or 2.3. The amperage is based on the amount of salt in the water. When this happens, I turn the machine off, dilute the salt water in the tub with a small amount a fresh tap water to dilute the saltwater. I then turn the machine back on to check that the amperage to between 1.9 and 2.1.
