My 4-year-old loved it and it's still going strong, which is saying something around here. Detail is awesome. I would have loved it as a kid.

awesome design
I wanted to get some dinosaur toys for my kids and share my interest with them. Allosaurus is a classic that I never had a good toy of when I was a kid. I really like the way this model looked. I like the pose, but mine did have issues standing on its own. I just had to buy a second one today because my dog ate it. not docking stars for durability because thats an extraordinary circumstance - though its the second dinosaur she's chewed up. The first was the papo gorgosaurus.

Amazing
Yet again another great figure from Papo! Like I always say the detail for the price is outstanding. Speaking of standing, the Allosaurus has a bit of a standing issue as he tends to fall over with the slightest bump. I can't complain though because a lot of figures of all brands have a few that don't stand very well

Awesome

Polacanthus/Allosaurus.
For some reason, this figure is labeled on Amazon as a Polacanthus, which was a totally different type of dinosaur. This figure is a good representation of an Allosaurus, which is one of my favorite dinosaurs. The size is just right, as in Baby Bear Right (from Goldilocks and the 3 Bears). The pose is really nice, the details and colors are good. I love that this (and all of the Papo carnivores have movable jaws)I showed it with a Stegosaurus which was its contemporary and prey, as well as a Tyrannosaurus Rex for size comparisons. All these figures in the first 3 photos were Papo Brand. The last photo is a Safari Limited brand Allosaurus, which is also nice but not as detailed (and slightly less in cost) since it was about the same size so the scale seems pretty good.Out of the five different brands of figures I have, Papo is my favorite as it seems most detailed and in scale with other the figures that Papo makes.

Great pose, color, and sculpt.
The sculpt and the coloration is great. But before I bought this I looked up video reviews for this one and the first Papo Allosaurus just so I knew for sure which one to buy. Some photos for the first Papo Allosaurus are misleading when it came to the color. If in doubt, buy this one.

Beautiful Papo!
I bought a few Papo figures as gifts for my niece who loves dinosaurs. Excellent paint work and the sculpting is exceptionally good!I just had to make a diorama for the review! Hope to get a few more in future.
