Cara Douche & Enema Combination Kit

I have been using these combo hot water bottles for almost 15 years now, and I have found them to be good quality, durable, reliable, flexible, and very easy to use. The tubing and attachments all fit very well together with no leaks.

five stars? Well, when I mounted this to my bicycle handlebars I found that the plastic hook's opening is just a little too large. Sometimes when I hit a bump the bag will come loose and fall onto the ground. At high speeds this can be a major inconvenience. I'm not sure what these other funny attachments are for but I have found the attachment with the pointy end to be best for sucking down some cold Gatorade on a hot day. Just one or two suggestions for the manufacture, this unit would be so much more versatile if they were to add backpack-like straps to the water bottle portion, that way I could use it for both biking and hiking. One last item that needs a little improvement is the small plastic clamp that shuts off the Gatorade flow. Sometimes that little fella will slip from the small teeth that hold it in the clamped position. This obviously leads to wasted fluids that could be hydrating my body during an intense workout. Overall, great value for the price.

**Intro**This is called a "Water Bottle Combination." What they mean by that is you can fill it up with hot water and use it to apply heat to yourself for therapeutic purposes, take it to bed with you to help stay warm, or finally, you can use it for enemas and vaginal douche. It has a simple white plastic plug for using it as a hot water bottle, and a separate plastic plug with a barbed nipple on it, rubber hose, and a couple of nozzles for use for enemas and douches. There is also a plastic pinch clamp to start and stop the flow.**The Good**This is a pretty cheap product. If you want it for any of the above stated purposes, it will work for that. It is designed to be reusable too. The red bottle part is made of natural rubber, so it will smell some, and you'll see that other reviewers have noted this. It is somewhat like the smell of natural latex gloves. If you have a rubber allergy, it might be something to be think about, otherwise, I don't feel like it is any problem. The bag seems to hold about 2 quarts, which is pretty standard, and sufficient for most people's needs. Finally, it is really important that these don't leak on you, and fortunately, mine didn't, although the quality of the product doesn't instill too much confidence - more on that in the next section.**The Bad**The box that this comes in is made of really flimsy cardboard, so you might find it bashed in by the time it gets to you in the mail. This shouldn't hurt the product though. It isn't breakable. The white plastic hook sucks. If whatever you want to hang it on is the wrong shape/size, it becomes pretty much worthless, and you have to come up with some other hang method like maybe bungee cords with hooks for example. The hook also doesn't seem very strong. It is as if they were trying to figure out how to make this as cheaply as possible, and a metal hook wasn't cheap enough, so they went to plastic. The holes that you hook it through on the bag seem like they are almost ready to tear when you hang it too, though they held up long enough for my purposes.My worst complaint about this kit is the anal nozzle. It is small diameter (about 1/8" at the tip, tapering up to about 1/4" near its barbed nipple to hook up to the hose. You might think that small diameter would be easier and more comfortable to insert, and therefore advantageous, but they took this logic too far here. The tip is so small that it is pointy, and almost sharp on the tip. It just tends to stab you, and in really sensitive areas, obviously. It is made of hard plastic, and with the hole going through it, it has a quite sharp edge on the little rim at the tip. Going against the intentions of the designers, I recommend that anal users try the douche nozzle. I think most people will actually find it be much more comfortable, and it does work well for anal purposes.**Summary and Buying Advice**If you want to use this kit for a hot water bottle, it will be good for that. If you want to do enema and/or douche stuff, consider first how many times you are going to use it. If you are going to do one or two enemas for a temporary medical need, just get a disposable Fleet enema kit or similar. If you are going to do about 2-10 times, I recommend this one, because it is good value. If you are going to do regular enemas or douche for a long time, consider a more expensive kit from CleanStream or Klystra. They sell better nozzles too. This is a cheaply made kit. It isn't all that comfortable, I worry about leak potential, the hanging holes aren't very good, and the hanging hook is made extremely cheaply. It is economical though, which is why I'm still giving it three stars. You'll pay far more for anything that is noticeably better in quality.

This is good set and at an acceptable quality. The boxes were a little smashed in the shipping box, but the items were fine inside. All the pieces were accounted for and the bag was a medium mass produced grade rubber/latex type material. It is surprising this item is getting harder to find in local stores - even drug stores. Thank god for Amazon.

My mom had told me that she was looking for a hot water bottle to put on sore muscles. So I was looking for the regular ones. Then I showed her one and she told me she wanted this one. So instead of buying just one I bought two of them. One for her and one for me. Trust me they work great
