Grayline 41710, Deluxe Shower Caddy, White

I was looking for this EXACT model to replace the one I have for somewhere between 6-7 years. After getting wet daily, and surviving a move to a new home 3 years ago, the white coating is peeling away and it is rusting somewhat. I think it lasted a long time and I was very happy with it. It is small, so if you have A LOT of products, this would not be for you - we keep on it a bottle of shampoo, a tube of condition, a tube of shave gel, 2 tubes of face cleanser, 2 bars of soap (on the bottom) and 2 razors in the side slots. Of course I am not sure if this is the same brand I bought years ago (the style is exactly the same) but....this model is much thinner in the construction, and seems not as heavy/more flimsy that my original - I am not sure I will get the same 6-7 years from this one - so 4 stars instead of 5.

I have a floor stand in my shower for shampoo etc., so I just needed something for my soap and loofah. Didn't want to spend much and these things have gotten kinda expensive. This came and it is as described. It comes with a decent ring to hold it against the wall up top but not a suction cut so I snagged the one off the rusty caddy I was throwing out. Definitely helps since this thing is so light. Unfortunately there is a little dark thread that for some reason was stuck to the front of the caddy when it got its plastic coating - clearly visible. I don't want to pick it out because that'll leave a bare spot that's vulnerable to rust. So not great quality, but not a big enough deal to return it.

I'm pleased with this shower caddy - although smaller than the one I had in my shower stall, this one seems much sturdier. Now for the down side - when I opened the box, there was a Ross tag on this caddy and the listed price was $3.99! I was a little upset as I paid over three times that amount! But when I checked at Ross, they only had very large shower caddies in stock so I'm happy with this as it is just right for my needs.

I LOVE this Shower Caddy. Had one by Rubbermaid many years ago, and they stopped making them, apparently. So I searched and searched all the big hardware stores, supermarkets, and Bed Baths and Beyonds, and couldn't find anything similar to the awesome one I had before. But then I found this one on Amazon and so HAPPY that I did.It's very useful for several bottles of shampoo and things, large and small, and the bar of soap, and it stays clean, and hasn't show any signs of starting to rust. I would NEVER have another kind of Shower Caddy. The fully rubber coated ones without a plastic soap dish really are the VERY BEST ONES, and this may be the BEST OF THE BEST!!!

I should mention that I do not require a huge shower caddy for tons of bath products. I have exactly two bottles, a bar of soap, and a razor. There's still room for some more bottles and I like the little tray on the bottom for my glasses when I accidentally wear them into the shower. The caddy does its job nicely. Before this one, I had a metal chrome caddy and it rusted, which was super gross. This one has a nice layer of plastic covering it, which has held up nicely so far. The caddy does not slip around on the shower arm and feels sturdy. I hadn't thought about this when I purchased, but the shower hose in one shower doesn't sit nicely with this caddy, but I think this is because the shower arm is short.

Hard to believe that a plain jane shower caddy like this is difficult to obtain these days but they are. We were looking for one a bit sturdier than the dollar stores sell without much success. This is a good compromise. The proof remains to be seen as most tend to rust at the seams after awhile but this one looks like the coating is done well.

Other than the centering of the area for the hose of the hand held shower head, this caddy does the job and seems to be of good quality for the price paid.

not for people with a lot of stuff, but if you have few things to hold it is very sturdy, does not swing around and doesn't get rusty or moldy. Added 1/04/13: 6 yrs. later, I still have this and it does not have one bit of rust or water damage to it. It is very sturdy still and well, it looks like this is probably the shower caddy I will have when I am 90 yrs. old.
