MABIS 3M Stethoscope Identification Tag, Gray

This is great. I'm an EMT and I've lost two Littmann stethoscopes over the last few years. This provides me with a way to display y name on my equipment so I can easily identify it and prevent other people from mistakenly taking it. There is a tag you send off to have engraved with your name for $7, it takes about 10 days to get it back, and it looks very professional.It appears to be of good quality, and does not interfere with the anything once you put it on. I didn't like some of the other tags out there that were off to the side of the stethoscope tube because they looked like they would easily get caught on just about everything.

Littmann name Identification tag for my Littmann Stethoscope. Just a tip, do not insert the tabs all the way tight. If you do, it will bend where the custom engraved tag would go and the tag will not stick very well. The custom tag is only held in place with very adhesive tape. I used aluminum pop rivets on the sides, and hammered the other side of the pop rivet into the plastic. Now nobody can steal my stethoscope and switch the name badge. HA!

The only thing that was annoying about this purchase was that I had to send out the tag to get engraved. I wish it was just a one step process, but overall it's a great tag. My stethoscope has never looked so good.

I bought this in hopes that my stethoscope will not get mistaken as someone else's or in case I loose it. It came with a silver sticker that can be written on and placed on the product. I used permanant marker to write my name on it. Within a day the marking was gone. In my opinion it was a waste of money.

I'm an MD and have had a few stethoscopes. I ordered this tag, thinking it was pretty solid. It has a plastic plate, and you write on the sticker, and then you have to read the directions VERY carefully and pull the little latches through. It cannot be removed once it is on (I guess that is good, but not if you position it just slightly incorrectly) and as you are pulling on the side straps, it feels as if it is going to break any second. It's ok, but I am buying another one for my regular stethoscope -- luckily, this was on a spare one.

The product arrived quickly enough but actually getting it on my stethoscope proved tricky. The straps didn't want to feed all the way through and I was afraid I'd wind up breaking the thing before I got it on properly. The instructions on the side of the package are the only ones in English, the insert that comes with it has every language except English. The whole thing seems pretty flimsy and there's probably a *very* limited number of places that you can actually get that fake metal plate engraved. I just wrote my name on the sticker to save myself some money. So far it's serving its purpose. I don't think it's worth more than 3 bucks, tops. Bottom line is that there's not many affordable options out there for a decent Littmann stethoscope nametag. As long as this one stays on the stethoscope and the sticker's legible, I guess it'll work.

Professional looking with the option to have a metal plate engraved. Many of my classmates are jealous of this simple tag. The price for engraving is $7 (I think), which is reasonable for the quality.

Takes a little effort to fit onto the stethoscope but once it's on there, it will stay in place well. A nice little item to have to personalize your stethoscope and distinguish it from the 100+ other stethoscopes in the hospital that would otherwise look exactly the same
