⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaves My Hair Smooth and Shiny I’m very happy with this flat iron! It heats up quickly and glides smoothly through my hair without pulling or snagging. It leaves my hair straight, soft, and shiny, and I don’t have to go over the same section many times. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and gives me a salon-like finish at home. Great quality and definitely worth it!

Absolutely worth the money and I’d definitely recommend it. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. My hair has a mixed texture and tends to be naturally dry, wavy, and frizzy. This straightener works better than anything I’ve used before! It smooths and straightens my hair effortlessly. A heat protectant spray is a must, and I love that it comes with a glove, which is especially helpful if you want to use it as a curler. It heats up to 455°F in about two minutes, which is incredibly fast. I was also skeptical about the 1.25-inch size because it didn’t seem wide enough for my thick, unruly hair, but it’s actually perfect as designed. It's actually pretty sleek and I can pack it in my purse to travel. I’ve had no issues with the placement of the heat knob either. It's easy to grip as well. I finally retired my old Conair straightener for this one, and my only regret is not switching sooner. Hands down the best straightener I’ve ever owned. Try it for yourself!! I am SO glad I decided to purchase this flat iron! It exceeded my expectations. I've been wanting a new flat iron for quite a while. The one I had before, I had for at least between 10-15 years. It was time for something new. Note: I mainly use my flat iron to curl my hair, not straighten. No lie, I was initially tempted to purchase one of those automatic hair curlers. But I kept seeing reviews about them suddenly not working. Plus the price was a bit much for me. After seeing this one by Hot Tools, and seeing the great reviews...I went with it. Zero regret :) This flat iron is worth every penny and the quality of it, really, surpasses what it costs. The texture of it is smooth to the touch. Lightweight. I love how it's matte black with the bit of 'gold' near the base. This iron is a bit on the longer side but that doesn't bother me a bit. The cord is LONG! Something cool about this iron - near the base it has a little sliding switch that allows you to lock and unlock the clamps of the iron. You can lock it, which keeps the clamps close together, but there is a tiny gap between the two. Then unlock when you want to use it. This feature helps with it not taking up too much room! Every other flat iron I've had never had this feature. The power button is on the inner side, between the clamps. And no exaggeration...this thing heats up FAST. I'm talking not even 30 seconds. You can easily switch between temps by turning the very bottom of the base, which is practically a dial. It remembers the last temp you used; so even if the dial gets turned around, when you turn the iron back on it is at the last temp you used. In the instruction manual it shows the best temps to use on your hair type - I found that to be very useful. This iron is just great. It's lightweight, sleek. Easy to use. Like I said, I use flat irons to curl my hair - not straighten. But I find this iron gliding effortlessly through my hair, leaving me with beautiful curls. The ONLY thing that took me some time getting used to was that since the very base is the dial that turns to control the temp, I kept placing my hand there to hold the iron, causing the dial to turn. So I have to keep reminding myself to move my hand further up to prevent this from happening. Almost used to it now. So yes. Get this flat iron. It's worth every penny. I'm so glad I got this instead of the other one(s). Gives me great curls! Also cool how it comes with a heat protectant glove.

Bought as a gift for a young girl beginning to style her own hair. This had good reviews and a fair price point. It seems like such great quality. It has held up great after almost a year of use. Still gets just as hot as it did when she opened it. It has a lock setting to keep it closed if you want that. Maybe for travel, I’m not really sure. There are good heat seatings to choose from. Nice display. The handle makes it easy to hold without slippage during use. The young girl uses it as a traditional flat iron and has also learned how to do curls. Controls frizz. Would recommend this over some of the more expensive brands!

This is an excellent flat iron. No snags, it’s nice and smooth and also gives a beautiful curl. It gets full temp within minutes and even beeps to tell you it’s ready. My only complaint is the location of the temp dial, it’s right at the end and is very easy to accidentally turn up or down while curling. Other than that this flat iron is too notch and very sleek looking.

I’ve had this straightener for 5 years! I love it !! I have long curly mixed girl hair , it works wonderfully. If my hair is dry takes me around 20-25 minutes to straighten it. If I wanna be perfect paper straight okay maybe 30 or so minutes. God forbid it ever breaks I’d be buying the same one ! Great product heats fast! Love the little knob on the bottom that twist for the heat settings. I’ve had a lot of flat irons in my time and I always hated the heat settings . You can digitally see the temperature and set it to what you want! Gets HOT ! It has little tiny knobs on the top so the hot plates don’t touch whatever surface you lay it on and burn it. It also locks to close it and keeps it closed SUCH A PLUS!

I purchased the HOT TOOLS Professional Black Gold Micro-Shine Flat Iron and it is truly Professional! I have thick, course hair and it straightens and curls my hair quickly! This flat iron heats up in seconds and my hairstyle holds for days.

Fonctionne comme un charme. Il chauffe à la vitesse "grand V" et glisse superbement bien sur le cheveu. Je ne pouvais pas demander mieux. Je viens de le recevoir et je l'ai essayé tout de suite!! Je suis enchantée. J'espère qu'il sera durable mais la construction semble solide et durable. Petit bémol. Pas d'instruction en français.
