4 Litre Bird Brand Creocote - Black - Box of 4

Goes on fence like a dream great coverage on old fence panels they almost look new. So much easier and looks nicer than then other branded wood preservatives. It also brings back so many memories as a child seeing black was all you could get.Added bonus black makes your flowers pop with colour.

Does what is says on the product info. Nice black finish and durable too.

Since I can’t legally buy real creosote, nothing else is much good other than Duckswax but this is fast to apply and provided give a top up every few years, has kept fences perfect. Expensive wood oils no good in hot sun, sadolin too expensive for large areas, and log cabin oils are all marginally better than plain water in direct sunlight, whereas this works.

Best stuff. I painted my garage. With this last year got it for new fence. Will never get anything else. Best stuff

Soaked into new, but clearly poorly treated fence boards very quickly and dried nicely. I used a brush, but thin enough for a sprayer I reckon. So far it's held its dark colour well, but I think that will be down to the wood a lot. Nice and oily

Been using this for a number of years. Lasts well compared to water based products. Black is becoming a little more difficult to find in local retailers so was pleased to get a pack of 4 at a good price.

Easy to apply. Husband has put on 3 coats and each cost has taken ages to dry .. literally like 3 days or more. Can still see the natural wood through the black stain ??

Works well is a great jet black colour does take some time to penetrate the wood but looks great. Only use on stuff you don’t want to sit or lean against as it does transfer
