The Wedding A to Z: Everything You Need to Know ... and Stuff You Never Thought to Ask

This is like no other wedding book I've come across, and it's the best I've seen. I love the tone, which is breezy and helpful, as opposed to lots of books that are stuffy and make you feel stressed. This book is all about options, and the bottom line that's repeated throughout is that it's YOUR wedding, and it should be memorable and fun. These gals know so many experts and have gathered advice (advice - not mandates) from every field having anything at all to do with weddings. It's wonderful to be able to "pick the experts' brains". The authors have done all the work. The book is chock full of ideas and is such a fun read. It reflects modern times and taste. SOOO worth it!

had a lot of basic stuff that's pretty intuitive but also had nice insight into etiquette and tips for handling certain parts of the planning that I found useful. Overall a good book, informative, but not 100% necessary for planning your wedding. If you need a starting place, this is great for you. If you've got a good handle on everything already and are just looking for that extra depth of insight, I might turn to something a little denser.

Helpful in some ways but moreso opinion in other ways.

Elegantly written, thoroughly researched and very well thought out – every letter and word for all 335 pages were carefully thought through, edited and placed. What I really liked about the book is it's smallish size, lightweight, easy to reference and find topics. Super helpful and enjoyable to read! (Especially if you're a guy who knows nothing about weddings ;)

This book is a must buy for anyone planning a wedding. It covers EVERYTHING in a smart, witty, and organized manner. On top of that, the beautiful layout makes it a pleasure to read. There are tips in here that apply to planing any event, so I expect to use this book well beyond my wedding.

I can dip in and out of this book, have a laugh and get great tips. Reading it is like talking to a friend and it is beautifully designed.

A very cute and informative book. It goes through the entire alphabet listing off a multitude of wedding terms, what more would you want. It is perfect as a gift or to read after an engagement. Definitely worth the price.
