Heavy and Sharp Edges
If you are interested in this bed, I recommend you look at Ikea instead. IMHO, Ikea is easier to put together, but most importantly, the bed support frame i think is better. Ikea uses wood slats to support platform beds. This bed uses particle board. this means this bed is VERY heavy, and will likely start to sag after a couple of years. I'm going to try to engineer a way to install slats. also, if you are considering this for your child, I again suggest Ikea, or going to a store to check out alternatives. This bed has VERY sharp edges - you can easily get a nasty scratch if you glide your skin over them. the manufacturer has even provided rubber corner guards for the bed. I think Ikea does a good job of mitering corners so they aren't so sharp. don't get me wrong, you can still hurt yourself on Ikea corners, but not as quickly as with these corners. I am a regular at ikea and wanted to try something different for my son's room. Only reason I'm not returning it is because i'll lose money on trying to ship it back.

Hard to put together, wobbly, and very low to the ground
This is an inexpensive bed and you get what you pay for. It's insanely complicated to put together, and even once put together it's wobbly. Given the way it's put together, it can't be tightened down, so it's permanently going to creak and wobble every time your child rolls over. Now, the drawers are nice to have, and it's low to the ground which is good for toddlers, but it's not a big-kid or adult bed. It's a cheap bed that would work well as a transition between a crib and a "real" bed, but it's not a well-built/permanent/solid solution.
