Ordered this fireplace after a lot of online research - was not disappointed. The fireplace looks great installed and has great flame action. Installation is simple and straight forward. Once installed I turned it on and there was a tap tap about every 3 seconds. I live in the Middle East so I am not close to a repair facility and the cost of shipping was as much as the fireplace. I reached out to GMHome customer support and explained the situation. Grace was amazing and assured me that they would take care of the problem whatever it took, including, if needed, shipping me a new unit at their cost. After taking a video of the fireplace so they could hear the tap tap sound, their technicians came up with a possible solution. They provided great instructions on how I could open up the fireplace and look for myself...take pictures and send them back for more information if needed. It turned out that the fix was as simple as moving a couple wiring nuts out of the way of the rotating bar - took me 15 minutes and now everything runs perfect. I was happy that they were willing to let me open up the fireplace without voiding the warranty and that they were so supportive. I let them know that everything is fixed and they responded with a $15 credit for my efforts. Maybe not so great for someone who doesn't feel comfortable doing this, but for me...out in the middle of nowhere...it was a great solution! Hubby and I tried our hand at a big DIY - building a brick fireplace wall. We bought this insert to finish off this awesome project, and couldn't be happier with it. The fit is perfect, the wood and ice options are a nice extra, and the flames are as ridiculously real as you can get. You cannot tell its electric at all. It's so beautiful that I find myself turning it on every time im on the main floor of the house. With it being summertime, we haven't fired up the heat outside of initially playing with the unit, but I can tell the supplemental heat this winter is going to be so nice! All in all a great unit at a great price. Very happy we went with this model! Just do something about the annoying beep. Nobody needs that feature. Especially if you have to go deaf when hearing it.

This fireplace is so beautiful.. I love that it can be used with or without the heater.. perfect for a evening of relaxing… I’m truly enjoying it…

Super easy to install, just took my wife and I. The flames reach up almost to the top. The choice of colors is excellent and realistic. Heat output is excellent as well.

This was a great purchase, Not a single complaint. There is a very low humming sound from the motor when the unit is turned on, but it does not present a distraction. The heat output is excellent and the flame is among the better I have seen. We have the option to use the logs or the crystals. The company indicated that it is possible to use both the logs and the crystals at the same time, but I could not find a way to make that work. I chose to use the crystals - beautiful! I hired someone to recess the unit into the wall and he had no difficulties - he found it to be very straightforward. You won't be unhappy with the purchase.

I love the look of this fireplace. The different colors are great for different moods. The heater works great! But,I am not sure why but the are really loud beeps when you change settings either with the remote or the front panel.This makes is hard to turn the unit on or off after the kids or the wife go to sleep.Please tell me there is a way to disconnect the beeper.

This is my first ever Amazon review and not only do I love our fireplace, but the customer service went over and beyond. We had an issue with our glass/latch and I tried to go to the direct website but wasn’t getting any luck. I reached out to them through Amazon and Grace their rep replied back quickly and even gave us a call. The fireplace in itself is perfect and we were having the hardest time finding something similar. Our replacement came quick and were so blown away with how the follow through the company provided in making sure it was all taken care of. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone! There are a ton of options out there from 150 to 5000$. This is a great unit in the lower price range. It scores on realism, operation, quietness and size. Very happy with the purchase.
