Nature's Way Ginkgold Advanced Ginkgo Extract, Supports Memory, Focus & Cognitive Function*, Ginkgo Biloba Extract, 150 Tablets (Packaging May Vary)

I’ve been using ginkgo biloba supplements for many years & Nature’s Way “Ginkgold” is the most effective one I’ve found because it really does improve memory & mental sharpness.I believe Nature’s Way uses a proprietary process to extract the purest, most consistent concentrations of gingko biloba’s active ingredients known to enhance brain function, & then formulates it with other ingredients to assure optimal results. (This is my interpretation of the information I’ve read on this product, but I can tell you with certainty that this product really works & I definitely notice a difference when I run out of it)!!!My only con is that it’s terribly expensive which is probably due to the costs of producing such an effective supplement, but an expense I do my best to budget for.(There is one common side effect with anything containing ginkgo biloba you should be aware of & that’s bleeding. You should always talk with your doctor before taking any herbal supplements, & supplements containing ginkgo biloba as it thins the blood. It may not be advisable if you bleed easily, are taking blood thinners, or other medications that may have negative interactions. ***And it’s extremely important to pause taking ginkgo & other herbal supplements a week or two before having ANY type of surgery or dental procedures as excessive bleeding can be a dangerous complication. You’ll also want to wait until you’ve healed before resuming ginkgo biloba & other herbal supplements containing it as bleeding can slow down or complicate the healing process, & this is true after a series injury as well.Overall, gingko biloba is very safe & effective for most people when taken as directed.I highly recommend “Ginkgold” & it’s an important & necessary part of my daily routine, one that improves my quality of life as I’m in my 60’s & a good memory is essential to happiness & wellbeing.

There are approximately 3 different Grades of Ginkgo Biloba Extract 24/6 on the Market in the United States1st Which makes up approximately 70%-80% of the Market.Gingkgo 24/6 that is adulterated with Rutin to raise the level to 24.This adulteration will only show up with very intensive tests that most manufacturersdon't want to do. Probably on purpose.2nd Ginkgo Biloba USP Grade.This is Ginkgo Biloba that meets the USP standard.Very difficult to detect if Adulterated.3rd Ginkgo Biloba German Grade Pharmaceutical.In Germany Ginkgo is prescription and the quality heavily regulated.The standard is the highest. I believe but am not sure that it is referred to as EGb761If you look on the packaging of Natures Way you will see that this product is made in Germany. The owner of this company is Schwabe, Schwabe has done extensive clinical testing of this Ginkgo Biloba and retrospective analysis of studies and has a patent on it.The clinical data on efficacy of Ginkgo is sketchy, my theory is that this is because the Ginkgo used in many of the tests is not Schwabe German Pharamaceutical Grade. By the way In Germany Ginkgo is a pharmaceutical manufactured to a very high standard and one of the most popular Herbal supplements in Europe. Natures way is the same Ginkgo that researchers use in many clinical studies.Years ago I tried a generic brand of Ginkgo and saw no effect, I tried it again recently along with Vinpocetine and my experience is below.This is the highest quality Ginkgo you will find on the market. All Ginkgo is not equal, If you'vetried Ginkgo in the past and not seen a benefit (Like Me), unless it is Pharmaceutical German Grade such as Natures Way (Can't find on Amazon) youshould try this.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++My Experience:1st I should mention that I began taking this along with Jarrows VinpocetineJarrow Formulas Vinpocetine, 100 Capsules. Jarrows like Natures Way is a company I trust.I began by taking 2 60mg (120mg Total)of Ginkgo and 2 5mg of Vinpocetine.I had insomnia and headaches.I lowered the dosage to 1 Ginko Biloba 60mg and the side effects went away. The change in my mental outlook is tremendous.I feel much more clarity and alertness. I'm also more sociable. I do believe that it truly does increase myshort term memory and possibly even my long term memory. It also fights depression and I believe that my mood has been elevated.I can't rate the Gingko alone because I've only tried it synergetically with Vinpocetine.I will state that if you have headaches, try cutting the Ginkgo pill in 1/2, this is powerful Ginkgo and you may be more sensitive to these compounds.Also that I was glad I bought the 60 mg tabs even though the recommended therapeutical dosage is 120mg

Very good stuff. I believe Ginkgo weather or not it leads to better blood flow and resultant better memory is a great compound to take. It's been around for ages. This particular formulation of Ginkgo is potential one of the best in the market..Yes, if you take too much of this at one time you will get a bad headache...but it will pass.Yes, also can get stomach pains and diarrhea and resultant constipation thereafter,so you have to make sure and not over do it. You could probably take 1 a day or one every other day if you are getting negative results. I don't recommend actually taking 2 or more per day.It's really cheap here on Amazon vs local pharmacy by far, so this is a great deal, and especially because you get the 150 count and not just the 60 or 120 counts.There's going to be people who will not take positive with it or probably have a reaction, so in that case discontinue and do not use again. Ginkgo is not for you.

Seems to be of high quality and did help with my health. Purchased a 2nd bottle and had the exact same experience.

I have tried several brands and formulations of Ginkgo Biloba for many years. The results were inconclusive - I didn't notice much of a difference in my cognitive abilities. I decided to try Nature's Way Ginkgold Max about a year ago. I feel that my ability to concentrate and mental focus have improved. The Amazon price for this size (150 tablets) and potency is the best and lowest I have seen. I plan to stick with this brand and potency level unless I come across something noticeably superior.
