Assembly is SUPER EASY and anyone needing screws has it together incorrectly....
These beds are great. Once together they are sturdy enough to pick up and carry without coming apart (no screws needed). However, the instructions are not super clear, and it's easy to get frustrated and I can see why someone might resort to screws. But they are definitely not needed. If you are having trouble with assembly, see below:Step 1) Take one short side and one long side and the vertical corner bracket. The arrow on the vertical corner should be facing up, and on the sides the big hole should be on top. (see picture)Step 2) Once the sides are secured to the vertical bracket, immediately place the corner cap around both of the side pieces and the corner bracket. The cap should be the outermost piece both inside and outside of the bed.Step 3) *IMPORTANT* This is where people must be getting it wrong. On the corner cap, on the inside, is a tab that extends further inside the bed than the rest of the cap. This tab also has a "hook" for lack of a better word. You have to bend this tab in with your fingers so the "hook" grabs the inside of the sides. This bending in of the tab is what keeps the sides stationary on the corner bracket and keeps the bed from coming undone. (see picture)Step 4) Repeat one corner at a time, and make sure to lock in the tabs on the corner cap after each corner.

Assembly should be easy but it is not.
This item arrived 2 days earlier than estimated and the packaging was sufficient enough, and there was no damage from the shipping process. I ordered the Antique Iron finish and it arrived as specified.Assembling this product seemed like it would be quite simple, as the entire bed is connected with "key lock" assembly, kind of like a metal bed frame. Anyway, the key lock assembly was frustrating because the large hole is on the top, so any pressure from below (like...the GROUND) causes the sides to unlock from one another. It is extremely time consuming to assemble because of this, and if you move it and set it down, unless all sides touch the ground and the exact same moment on a perfectly even surface, it will unlock and fall apart. Also disappointed that some of the corner brackets were imperfect inside, causing them not to sit flush.I am pleased this is open on the bottom, but feel like a single brace bar in the center may help.

Easy to put together
I hesitated to buy these beds because of reviews reporting how difficult they are to put together. I’m so glad I ordered them anyway. I love the color and the metal is sturdy. They snap together very easily, but the top cap is what holds them together...it snaps over the joints in each corner and can be bent under the lip of the pieces to hold them together while completing the remaining corners. I’m a middle-aged woman and it took me about 20 minutes to put two beds together by myself. I’m really happy with the quality and will likely order more to match.

Flimsy, won't stay together and you have to pay for return shipping
No tools says the ad. Right. But then, nothing to hold it together. Very flimsy, couldn't keep it together. Saw other reviews saying they used gorilla glue. Ridiculous. This product isn't worth having. There are others that do come with screws and therefore will stay together. I am sick that I have to return this since it is heavy. Will likely cost half the price to get rid of this junk. Do not buy this product. Look for one with actual screws/bolts.

Sturdy and attractive raised beds
Compared to other raised beds we have, this was the easiest to assemble because there are no tools required. There is a bit of a trick to learn when aligning the rails with the corner brackets, but once you have mastered the sequence and secrets of assembly by trial and error, it is fairly easy. The only caution or downside is that the box must be assembled on site because moving the box causes the rails to slip out of place. Positives are that the rails are sturdy and the edges are not sharp. I also love the “iron” powder coated finish. Looks classy.

VERY STURDY
I Bought 5 of these for our garden out front. Very nice finish and good size. There was some issues with the keylock slide together assembly so i used a single self tapping sheet metal screw on the corners to end my frustration. Other than that a great product that heartily recommend. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the need to use sheet metal screws to securely hold the assemblies together.

Excellent quality raised gardens
Excellent quality raised gardens! We purchased these to plant asparagus in and they work perfectly! Yes, putting these together was a bit of a challenge but it was well worth it! I am considering purchasing more in the future.

2 stars all the way
I'll side with the folks who thought this product was flimsy and difficult to assemble.. Be aware that the sheet metal used in this planter is definitely thinner than a typical tin can. That makes assembly tough because it's wobbling all over the place. The fastening arrangement is also poor...continually pops out of place while trying to assemble. I can't see how it's going to hold up after a winter or two here. Value wise I'd say it's probably worth high twentys to low thirties at best. I epoxied my planter together just to get it steady enough to assemble ,fill and use. Mediocre is a kind assessment grade for this box.
