I've been using a QNAP NAS, Rasp Pi2, and Rasp Pi3 for Kodi until now. With a need for 4k support, I decided to give this Android box a try rather than a Pi4 and have so far been pleased. The remote is unfortunately IR, so it needs line of sight, which is disappointing, but the remote can learn IR codes from another remote so you can perform some functions on your TV and/or tuner such as power, volume and input selection.The only troubling thing is that this box is _VERY_ chatty, attempting to establish connections to who knows what, and who knows where. I could dig into this further, but the easier solution for me was to simply limit what this box can talk to.I wanted to try something else other than a Pi running LibreElec, and while I think a Pi ultimately gives you more flexibility overall, LibreElec is more or less Kodi only, whereas running Android gives me easier access to a web browser, etc.

It keeps freezing and crashing. I thought a firmware update would fix it but it would never run the update. I wiped it and restored to factory settings and it still randomly closes apps. Will be returning

Great box. Very snappy. Much faster than my old M8S. 5g wifi and bluetooth are great too. Runs Kodi perfect.

Got stuck in a Bootloop the first day of use. Sent it back to Amazon for a refund.

Great Android TV Streaming Box, easy to set up, easy to download apps, runs very very cool, so heat is not an issues as it is for so many. WiFi works great and I have the box three bedrooms away, or about 100-foot going through 5-walls. I have tried several of these imported Android TV Boxes and this one actually works and has no issues thus far. Great Seller as well, excellent customer service.
