House of Troy DSK428-G71 Shelburne Collection 13-3/4-Inch Portable Desk Lamp, Antique Brass with Green Glass Shade

This lamp, despite its high price, is junk. The lamp pole is made of plastic. The shade is some sort of cheap plastic/glass mix. Although the description says it weighs 29 pounds, it actually weighs well under 10 pounds. It looks and feels as though i Bankers Desk Lamp in Polished Brass t cost $30 at most. A complete ripoff. I will never again purchase anything made by House of Troy.

Save your money and buy a more inexpensive version. Although nicely designed, this lamp was not constructed well enough and did not have materials of sufficient quality to justify paying five to ten times more than the price for similar lamps. I'll return it if I have the time.
