Leachco Snoogle Chic Jersey Body Pillow - Sand

I purchased the snoogle to help me sleep when I was about 16 weeks pregnant, because I was already having hip pain from lying on my side. The snoogle has helped me sleep more comfortably, while providing added support in the areas I needed it most. I have also used it while sitting and reading or watching TV to give additional support to my back. I bought the jersey cotton snoogle because other reviews said the one without the jersey cotton was too rough. This one is not rough at all, it is very soft. There are parts of the pillow that are a little thicker than I would like, making it hard to use it as a pillow. However, the two ends of the pillow are not filled as much, making it more comfortable as a pillow. The only bad thing is that it does take up a lot of room in the bed, but given that it's helped me sleep more comfortably, I will deal with the extra room it's taking up.

I really wanted to like this, but it was just too big and resting my head on it gave me neck cramps. Plus the material just isn't that nice. I'm all about getting what is specifically tailored for pregnancy but I ended up going to Target and getting a regular body pillow with a really soft covering and then just using my regular pillow for my head. I have been sleeping much better and my hips are no longer hurting. Wish I could have said this for the Snoogle.

I'm a big fan of all things soft, and when I found out a product was available to help me sleep during my second pregnancy after I had such a difficult time sleeping during my first pregnancy, I was excited. I went ahead and paid the extra for the Jersey Knit cover, since others' reviews complained about the rough texture of the standard cover. The cover was soft enough. Not super-soft, but not irritating and definitely tolerable. When I laid down to sleep, the pillow seemed soft yet supportive. I was excited about the support I would get for my back and hips. But I was wrong. I tossed and turned much of the night, it was difficult to get comfortable for more than a few minutes. When I woke up, not only did I have a crick in my neck, but my upper back, lower back, my hips, and even my jaw (I assumer from how my neck and head were aligned) were very sore. It was one of the worst nights of sleep I've had in a long time. I wanted to give it another try for one more night to see if I could make it work, but sleep right now is precious and much needed and I couldn't bear sacrificing another night for that pillow. I'm sending it back today.For the record, I'm kind of a small person at 5'1", so it could be that for taller users, the pillow would be just fine. It just didn't work for me. Also, for those of you who like the pillow, but are shy about the standard cover, I recommend the Jersey Knit cover. It was pretty soft. Also, I liked that the product package came with a card board insert with pictures and descriptions of all the suggested ways you could use the pillow for pregnancy and after the baby is born. That would have been useful if I had kept the pillow.

Hard to lug around but very comfy. It works best as my dogs bed now. Easy to clean, soft but not a good head pillow just for the body.

I love my new snoogle body pillow. I am 4 months pregnant and I have only been using it a week, but am sleeping much better with it. It is big, but snuggles your body exactly where you need it. The jersey cover is not super-soft, but is soft enough. It is the same softness as a regular t-shirt. Fine for sleeping and similar to my sheets. The zipper cover made getting the cover on/off very easy.I agree with some of the other comments that I wish the cover had a flap that goes over the zipper to "hide" the zipper, and I wish the pillow tags (that are standard on pillows) were on the inside of the cover vs the outside. Even though they are on the outside, it does not impact sleeping or is uncomfortable. The tags are in the back where your body does not come in contact. I also wish the softer jersey (vs the polyester) covers came in better colors or patterns. I bought this one with sand color and the Heather replacement cover. They work, but I would love a better color.

I bought this when I was a few months pregnant with my son. I was a stomach sleeper with a bad back and thought this might help me transition to be a side sleeper while pregnant. Well, it worked! It worked so well that I never got rid of it once I delivered. My son is 4 months, and I still sleep with it. It is the most comfortable pillow ever! And my back doesn't bother me anymore now that I'm sleeping in a better position. It does take up a bit of room, though. And the cover can be taken off and washed. It's held up really well. I highly recommend this - even to people who aren't pregnant!!

Pillow itself seems nice, however upon receiving it it kind of looked gently used, fabric of the pillow case has fuzz balls on it that started to form and I found two short black curly hairs on it and nobody in my family has black hair. There was another piece of hair stuck to the tape on instruction card tape. Its hard to tell if it was human hair or from like a cat.. plus that tape on the card was just there not connecting anything together, made me think there was something else in the packaging that was missing now. But, the outer plastic wrap looked just fine and brand new, it doesn't look like it was ever open before. So I don't know, I hope it is brand new and hairs got there somehow during production. My sellers name was Ella Sparkle if you are interested. So that's why 3 stars for seller and 5 stars for a pillow. My husband is already trying to steal it and use it!

Horrible! So uncomfortable! Very thick and hard so it hurts my head to lay on it. It also has some knots inside which make sleep simply impossible. The shape and length are not for everyone either. On top of this it arrived with holes in it.
