I have an autistic almost five year old
The reason why that’s relevant is she doesn’t have any self care. I mean ZERO. So there’s no blowing her nose included in that. Cleaning her nose with a bulb syringe just doesn’t work, and the snot sucker you can forget that. Try holding a 40 pound kiddo that hulks out when you do anything she doesn’t want to and only have two hands to try either of those. This completely cuts that need for a third or fourth hand. When I say hulks out people always underestimate her but last ER visit as we tried to get an EKG it took four medical professionals and dad and I that’s six and she still bucked us off. She gets legit hulk strong. It’s quick and easy to use while restraining your kiddo. She hates it and screams while it’s used but is always happy when I let her go. She gets some big crusty boogers high in her nasal canal that I couldn’t get with other nose things before. My 1 1/2 year old son hates it but it works. I tried it on myself to make sure it wasn’t too much and it’s not. When it stops sucking as hard you need to change the batteries. You know by the sound of the motor and the amount of air coming out the side hole. You’ll learn by using what normal sound it sounds. I suggest rechargeable batteries. I use it often though so I’m not sure how often I change them. At least once a week. But this is an autism home and we live off double As here. A lot of autism parents can attest to quite a large collection of rechargeable batteries always on hand. Best investment ever the batteries that is. Amazon basics have some inexpensive ones we must always have a surplus of. I’d advise to always use saline first as if your nose is dry it can make dry passages bleed lightly. That’s super rare though and only happened once as I use saline before each time. I do feel that the part that has the exit air hole in the side can smell horrible after time, and the top rubber part can get discolored. But all in all this product is legit. This autism mom approved.

Does nothing
This thing is absolute garbage. It takes multiple minutes to get maybe one booger and even then it doesn’t suction it up, just gets it close enough to the front of the nose that you can use a tissue to pull it out. The bulb the hospital gave us does a better job.

Pretty good
Could use stronger suction and the tip does not fit noses under 12weeks old. Much better alternative than the Frida nose sucker

Did not meet my expectations
I liked the product very much and bought it 3 months before my baby was born. It's been a while since I bought the product but I just used it. The product doesn't absorb well enough.
