Ultimate eBike Security – A Heavy-Duty Lock Even a Jedi Would Trust
Recently bought a new eBike and wanted a lock to secure it. Found this—the Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Chain Disc Lock. Strong in the Force, this one is. This chain and lock is super strong—engineered with 14mm six-sided, heat-treated manganese steel links that could hold off a Sith himself. Its lock functionality is unmatched. The MAX-Performance disc lock and oval hardened steel crossbar offer supreme resistance to leverage and brute force attacks.A bit heavy, yes—but a small issue for such security. After all, a true Jedi carries the weight of peacekeeping. With a glowing key and smooth locking action, it offers great ease of use, even in the darkest corners of the galaxy. For value for money, it’s a wise investment. Theft deterrence like this? Priceless. Durability? Built like a Star Destroyer. Fit? Wraps easily around the frame and anchor points of any high-end ride. And yes—it works well, every time.Trust in this lock, and rest easy you will. Your eBike, protected it shall be.

Strong. Heavy. Reliable.
Secured my daily rider for 10 years in cities. Secured my bike on roof-mounted rack for multi-day drives/roadtrips. Lock mechanism still works well despite lots of rain, snow, sand, street crud. Chain has not rusted. If you don't mind the weight, this thing's great.

The toughest lock
You really can forget about it. The lock requires bespoke tools to pick. The shackle and chain are made from tough steel. Anyone trying to steel your bike is goingTo be caught before they can get through this lock.

It's a nice secure feeling lock and chain.
I use this lock and chain to lock up my eBike. It feels nice and secure. My son told me it's overkill, but I spent $800 for the eBike and it makes me worry less. I'm a 71 year old senior that's 4'11" and I'm able to handle it without difficulty. I thinks it's somewhere about 10 to 12 pounds in weight maybe. When riding my bike, I store it in the pannier bags I have attached to my rear rack.

Not practical. Cause damage to my bike.
Too short for practical use. Very heavy. The exposed metal on either side of the chain is leaving a lot of damages on my new electric bike.

Sticky at first
Lock can be sticky and hard to open at first. Otherwise it’s the best lock. Nobody has gotten out, and I know a few of them have tried…

Incredibly Solid Lock!
I LOVE my new Kryptonite lock. I just got a new bike. I was willing to pay for the best chain lock I could afford and this was it. I'm deeply grateful I have it protecting my bike. It gives me great peace of mind. I also made sure to sign up for their theft program as they'll cover the cost of the bike if ever stolen.

Steal my bike? Fahgetaboutit
This chain is 100% worth every penny. I’ve gone through maybe 6-7 different motorcycle locks and lock types. This is still my preferred locking mechanism over most that I use. The ONLY thing that would make this better is if the lock was alarmed. One good tip that I saw online that has been very good for me is, try to get your bike close to something solid and you can use this chain to chain your bike to a static object. I figured this would be assumed but I actually only thought about using it to lock the tire up so the tire couldn’t move. Since then I’ve been locking my bike to my car rim every night and it’s been great! I’ve come to my bike twice now where the cover has been removed from it, I’d like to assume someone saw the chain and said, fahgetaboutit.
