Bought an identical flashlight at a thrift store. Build-in battery is not connected to dynamo. Once it is dead, you're stuck with having to constantly squeeze. It will wear out your hand quickly. Best thing is that the dynamo is not a battery and will not leak. Too many flashlights of mine have had batteries leak and then corroded into useless scrap. It is best for finding the "good" flashlight and fresh batteries. I rate it 2 stars because it works.

Seems cheaply made, but it makes my son very happy. Bright light. We'll see how rechargeable it is when the batteries die.
