Solid Practical Advice
This book is full of good, solid, practical trading information. And you also get a complete trading strategy on Forex. This is a bargain! And so are his other books. Each book gives the reader a unique trading strategy. My trading benefits from all of his books. The author gives excellent practical advice on formulating your own trading system - trading with the trend, solid money and risk management, trading with patience, no emotions and no outside influence. He identifies the mistakes trader often make - cutting profits short, letting losses run, revenge trading, and how to avoid them. He shows that the ability to read price action rather than indicators gives the extra edge for successful trading. The best part: He gives his readers a well defined trading system to identify the trend and support/resistance, as well as detailed entry criteria using candlesticks, stop loss and profit targets. In addition he shows you when NOT to trade. This is a complete strategy to trade with. Mr. Damir is a talented writer and teacher. His discussions are excellent and detailed. The concepts are clearly explained. I learned a lot about reading candlesticks from this book. I am testing this system and plan to adopt it as my own.

A great start for intermediate beginners
I just finished this book. It was a pretty good and straightforward read.I believe this book is great for intermediate beginners. What I mean by that is a beginner who has been trading a little bit and is familiar with basic concepts but still trying to figure out the discipline and strategic part.Overall, Laurentiu has provided a good swing strategy that should produce decent results consistently… IF you stick to the rules. For someone like me who is used to scalping, this will honestly be a little challenge. However, the 4h and duly is where the real profit with less risk is at.Some constructive feedback… I would have loved to have seen some more regarding money management. My problem with swings traditionally has been the much bigger stops needed to account for 4h and larger timeframes. I also would have loved to have seen more trade examples. I still feel like I don’t quite have a full understanding of all aspects of his strategy… but I suppose that I’ll change when I re-read it (I think it will be worth the second effort) and practice what I’ve learned. Regardless, this is a solid book with a solid strategy.I’ve seen some reviews attack his English and grammar skills. All I can say is that I wish I could know a second language with half the command that he has. It does require an occasional re-reading here and there, but honestly it’s not that bad at all.If I could have another opportunity to purchase this book or not, I most certainly would. I look forward to the other books.

Taught me to Enter Retracements Better
I have been trading futures for about 2 years and consider myself just below intermediate in my skill level, meaning I am making money but still have a lot to learn to obtain larger profits. I just began trading FX and bought this book, although the content could be applied to futures, options or stocks. I liked this book because it covers the basics of learning to read charts and to trade based on current price action and not lagging indicators. This book is simpler than other chart books I have seen. In this regard I believe this simpler method will help me plan better entries, stops and exits. This strategy consists of money management (well planned entries, stops and exits) and interpreting the immediate price move, rather than depending on many lagging indicators. Personally, it will help me determine when price has finished retracing -- a problem I have had -- because it taught me to identify *which* candles to pay attention to and *what characteristics* they should have. The book is short, the writing is concise, and I liked that it was not unnecessarily long. I finished the book in a few short sittings.

A must read for any trader!
Wow, do not discount this book because it is free!I'm a successful futures/commodities trader, trying to get better at Forex. This book is brilliant. Trust me.This book targets beginners to intermediate traders. You should be somewhat familiar with charts and candlesticks but don't need to know any of the standard "Japanese Candlestick Strategies". Just know how to read the chart. I imagine most people trading Forex will be advanced enough to read this book without any problem. This book gives a super boring strategy! This is good. If you want action and excitement, trading is not for you. The advice in the first half of the book before the actual "50 pips a day strategy" is worth hundreds of dollars and applies to any strategy you employ. Based on the writing, I think the author would agree that your strategy is irrelevant. Almost anything can work. Sound risk management is key. Patience is key. Waiting for your ideal setup is key. Don't just jump in because you are bored or impatient. The author really stresses this and it is what makes this book SO good. It's short and easy to read. I'd recommend reading it straight through, and then trying to find some setups that match. Trade the strategy a bit. It stressed 4H charts. That means each bar represents 4 hours! These trades are LONG. You have to wait a long time! It may not be clear at first. After trying it out a bit, risking little, re-read at least the first section and ask yourself very deliberately and honestly whether you are following the advice on entries and risk management. That may be your problem if you aren't. It could take weeks before a good entry materializes and weeks longer before your exit points. Oh well. That's how it works. This is a good thing. I know a lot of people won't see it that way. Quick money is the way to lose money.Overall, yes, it's fairly simple. Yes, it's a slow strategy. It is very good though. I recommend it for those even uninterested in the strategy just to get the excellent advice in the first half.

an okay book for newbies
I only read this book because the title looked interesting and I was a bit doubtful that a book that was free (on the Amazon Prime Kindle member page) could show me "a very clear and simple to follow forex trading strategy to get you started achieving consistent profits day after day trading the Forex market. It will make you 50 pips per day or more every day." That is a huge claim, and I always figure that even it does not live up to the claim, maybe I can learn something to make my time reading it worthwhile.I was a bit disappointed, but not surprised when I did not find "a very clear and simple to follow forex trading strategy" laid out in the book. Rather I found this to be a decent primer to someone that is very new to Forex trading and just wanted to learn a few things in a book instead of using "the Google."There was a bit of confusion for me as the Author said all technical indicators are useless and should not be used, but then a bit later said you need to use a 200 day moving average. Isn't a 200 day moving average a technical indicator? He also talks about other technical indicators and explains why they can be used, which makes me think those chapters were just fill to make the book a bit thicker.Overall this is an okay book for a beginner. Since it was free I do not feel I have much invested. I think it was free because the Author does advertise his other, non-free books quite a bit in this book.

Know these before you buy this book
I enjoy reading how other forex traders trade and develop their strategies as a forex trader myself, I would like to constantly improve myself and see what others are doing that might help me in my trading. I personally have been doing trading from stocks to forex for the past 10 years, some information are important and some not so. I will rate the book based on how much good information are there for both novice and veteran. They can add it on to their own trading arsenal or simply a refreshment. =)So after reading this book, I will give you the take away I got from this book. Everyone might have different interpretations, so I hope it will help you!Main Takeaway1. Trading on higher time frame will make you more money in the long term2. Time frame that Laurentiu used for his trading3. Trend is the core principle of Forex4. Technical indicators are lagging indicators and is hard to give you a good signal5. Solid Money Management6. Using of different time frame for entry7. Seeing Trend with EMA on H48. Support and Resistance LevelInside the book Laurentiu will break down his trading method to achieve the 50 pips daily. The book is about that particular approach and strategy. Reader should not expect informative or exhaustive list of indicators or explanation. Laurentiu simply explain a working strategy that works. For people looking to improve and trying out other approach to increase profitability ratio, this book will be helpful to you!

Seems straight forward
after reading this book, have bought all the rest of the authors books, as there is no fluff, just the straight to the point, some elements are repeated through out of the series of his other books which may be annoying to some of the readers, i however found it complimenting each book and more reinforcing to memorize the basics of trading and disciplines, which is the key, i have no hesitation to recommend any one of Laurentiu Damir's books especially if you consider trying a forex trading as a form of additional income stream and not a gamble, it is definitely a must for beginners. P.S. the only reason I left 4 stars and not 5 is simply because I have not tested the particular strategy on live account yet, however, since i have been day trading stock for quite a while, it made perfect sense to me as stocks and forex share some basic fundamentals when it comes to charting.

One of the best books in my library!
If you trade Forex (or the stock market) Buy this book!Laurentiu Damir has written a whole series of short books on Forex trading based on price action. This is by far the best and it was free when I "bought it" (I bought his other books too, Money well spent.)This book provides a fantastic insight into trading any market. It is worth the read for any trader. The title is unfortunate. "50 pips a day". That sounds too much like other "50 pips a day" books that explain a single day trader "strategy" that will not work for most traders. This is NOT a day trading book.It provides real insight into trading any market and does provide a longer term trading strategy that, if followed, will certainly return over 50 pips a day. This is a gift. Accept it!

Einfach gut

Good content, straight to the point.
Eng:It's good content, practical, no mystical bull****, no repetitions. That's 60 pages I beleive, but I'm ok with it cause payed 1€.It contains mentions to his other books, but again I'm ok with it, because the author seems to write good content. Now I've just started reading his "Price action breakdown", and it seems good, I'm appreciating his explanation of lateral market phases, or fair value phases. I really appreciate his explanations; because in other authors' books I got annoyed with reading hundreds of pages of market conspiracy theories, repetions and lack of real juice.
