Well I like the book and will use some of the recipes
Well I like the book and will use some of the recipes, Especially excited to try the Dried Cocoa coated Kale sounds good to a beginner on any such diet. My reason for the book is simple I have mold toxin poisoning in my body, totally thankful to find advice online how to recover. Alkaline seems to be the basic answer, so I'm in. Love how the food makes me feel. Why 3 stars? Food lists are very limited, example no walnuts, No sauerkraut. I do appreciate the information in the book, but I actually purchased it because of the advertised food charts which leave more questions than answers. Yes, of course I tried to find the answers online, but became very confused by all the different rating by different sites, this book was purchased to set me straight. Back to site surfing and hoping I find sound answers. Maybe I'm to cheap, but when I fork over this much cash, I expect to get what was advertised. Just sayen'

So far the recipes are pretty good-the spelt mini pizzas are really fun and quite good. My only issue is the quality of the book-it's not going to last a long time. The binding is already going. Stop sending all the printing jobs to China!

An OK book but be prepared to tweak the recipes
This was the second book I purchased from Natasha Corrett, the first being Honestly healthy. I didn't realise until browsing in waterstones that there was another book, 'Honestly Healthy for life'.. I subsequently ordered via Amazon.Much preferred this to HH as it s more informative and not just a book of basic principles and recipes. However, as with Honestly Healthy I really don't believe that NC has worked on these recipes or done significant amount of research as to the quantities of ingredients and timings etc. I'm an accomplished home cook, and food is my passion and I've had to adjust many of the recipies, particularly the desserts/cakes etc.

Bought as a gift
I bought this for my mum as she likes Natasha's other books. Personally I'm not a fan of her way of eating - I find it a little bland and unsubstantial! - but my mum has been pleased with some of the recipes so it gets a thumbs up from me.Definitely one for vegans/vegetarians!

Good recipes but don't follow advice on buying centrifugal juicer
Great recipes...bad advice on choice of juicer. A masticating one gets far more volume of juice than a centrifugal juicer. A masticating one is more expensive but you save the cost in the amount of fruit n veg you use. A masticating one doesn't heat up either so you get more nutrients surviving the process.

Such creative ideas and recipes
Not quite as good as the first book but still very good indeed. I love the recipes and this way of cooking. Natasha Corrett is very creative and has completely changed the way I cook. Highly recommended

Disappointed
The recipes are tasty and wholesome, however too many expensive and not always easily sourced ingredients! It's a bit pretentious in my view! That's why I gave it a 3
