These screen protectors are at least as good as the many other stiff plastic protectors out there. They are very smooth and easy to apply; requiring no water for installation and including a cloth and application card. They are made of thick, semi-rigid plastic instead of the crumby, sticky, stretchy film like some others. Both sides of the protector are covered with protective film, which is clearly labeled.The only downside is the protector is not exactly as pictured. Instead of individual cut-outs on the top of the protector for the speaker, light sensor, and camera, there is one, long, rectangular cut-tout starting just to the right of the speaker and going off to the left. This leaves a very small portion of the front of the phone unprotected. For the price of a 3 pack, these can't be beat. Just take your time installing and use some scotch tape to pull the protector up and remove any dust from beneath it if necessary.

This screen protector did the job it was meant to do and was very affordable. I've had it since December 2011. The Zagg screen protectors seem to look a bit better but I wouldn't spend the money on one after using this one. I purchased this screen protector because I knew one day I would put my phone in the same pocket as my keys and I didn't want it to scratch up my screen. I've put them together a few times now and I can't say I see a single scratch.There is a very minimal rainbow effect but I have to be looking for it to notice it. They give you three of these screen protectors so if something happens to one or you feel like changing it out you don't have to purchase another.Installation reminded me of putting a static cling sticker on a window. You line it up and it just sticks right to it. Very simple to install but you have to be careful that there is no dust. Dust will create little air pockets but you'll run into that with any screen protector. Someone mentioned washing the screens but it did not work for me. I just threw it away and used a new one.My wife has a Zagg Invisible Shield and I wouldn't say I see much of a difference but we aren't rough on our phones. The Zagg screen protector has a matte look and it a bit tacky but the GreatShield is glossy and smooth. The installation was different as Zagg gives you a cleaning solution that you spray on then use the liquid to slide the screen protector around until it lines up.I changed out my first screen because I let some dust get under the screen but the second one has been going strong for a few months now. Great product!Update (8/31/2012)I have been using screen #2 since I wrote the review. The edges are mostly still adhering but there is a bit of creep but my case hides it. I most likely did it when I was playing with the case edges. I will be changing out the screen soon because I managed to hit my phone with some sharp metal and it slashed the protector to the point that air got under it. Surprisingly there was no damage to the glass underneath.

Update I ditched GreatShield for another brand, these things gather fingerprints and smudges like crazy and I was constantly cleaning my screen. I'm not using one of the wet application protectors and initial results are very good.I would never buy a single screen protector because it always seems to take a practice run with a new brand so I'm glad this set came with 3. I'm also glad this set finally showed up at my door since the shipping company apparently lost it for a few days. There are things I like and dislike about this protector.The positive-Nice feel almost like the phone itself. Some real cheap protectors have sticky surface and this one is virtually the same to the touch-No glare or distortion including from polarized sunglasses. Cheap ones sometimes have issues especially with polarized glasses. No issues here.-Easy to install and came with nice cleaning cloth-Seems very scratch resistantThe negative-The step 2 plastic is a bit sticky and removing this reseats the screen protector during install so you have to be careful not to get bubbles and dust during this step. This is how I burned thru #1 of 3-Its too small all around, this thing needs to be a little wider and longer to fit perfectly. Mine is nearly centered so it doesn't look that bad but it makes installation tougher too. This was an initial complaint but after trying another brand I understand why they made this one a little smaller. Due to to raised edges on this phone a perfectly fitting screen protector is nearly impossible to install.-The cutout on the top does not look good. As another reviewer mentioned the top left of the screen protector is all cutout past the earpiece and combined with it being slightly too small this looks a little sloppyI have a tps case on the way so hopefully the case will hide the leftover bits on the edges and bring the whole thing together.
