Best Jerk Seasoning Ever!
I first bought this spice in Jamaica. We fell in love with Jerk! I like this better than any other spice combination in US grocery stores or that I have tried to combine myself. I add some olive oil and a tablespoon of cider vinegar to a zip lock bag, add chicken pieces (white meat last), marinate and then BBQ.

HOT N SPICY
It wasn’t what I expected, but it has a good flavor and it’s spicy; I previously purchased some ISLAND SPICE JERK SEASONING (light blue label) in Jamaica a few years ago. I kept the old container hoping to purchase more. The ingredients are the same but the label coloring was slightly different. I would recommend this product to others.

Disappointingly bland
I've been getting my jerk seasoning at Market Spice in Seattle. Thinking to save myself a trip to town, I bought this on the strength of the other positive reviews. It's a huge disappointment. The main ingredients, according to the label, are salt, followed by sugar, neither of which is worth $14 a pound. There was, in addition, a hint of allspice and a very faint sensation of heat. If this contains scotch bonnet peppers they are a trace element at best. Buy yourself a box of Mortons and a tin of paprika and save your $20.
