Great Bargin
Great purchase at a great price. After searching for weeks at electronic stores and being appalled at their outrageous prices I decided to go on line and do my shopping. I was pleasantly surprised at the price differences and decided to buy the two-pack replacement battery. Fits perfectly and last for hours without recharging. I was disappointed with the express shipping though. It cost more than the batteries and took the same amount of time to be delivered to my residence. I don't recommend taking this route and would settle for normal delivery. Layton The Villages, Fl.

Headphones working again
My wireless Sony headphones are back and working great. So far I have not been able to run the battery down and that is great.

Does not work in Sony MDR-RF970RK Headphones
The original Sony branded battery that came with my Sony MDR-RF970RK headphones does not hold a charge for very long no matter how long it charged. So I bought these rechargeable batteries (2-pack) to replace it. Unfortunately, the new batteries do not charge at all (the red light on the headphone charging station does not come on). I've swapped the old and new batteries back and forth to see if I'm doing something wrong. But only the old Sony battery is recognized by the charger (the light comes on), while the new batteries are not.The product description clearly states the batteries are compatible with Sony MDR-RF970RK. I will be returning the batteries.

"No memory effect" means you can have a backup battery without a separate charger.
I suggest buying 4 headphone batteries and using two at a time with these simple rules.1. Always switch off when taking off.2. Always recharge overnight whichever batter is in the headphone at the end of the day.3. During the day, whenever the headphone will probably not be used for 2 or more hours--switch batteries and recharge. (Or--you might also switch-and-recharge in the middle of the night or early in the morning.)4. Any time that a battery starts to conk out after only a few hours use--it is on the way out. So it is then time to enter a third battery into the switch-off routine.Thus--even if you usually use the headphones all day long--you will always have two almost-fully charged batteries--or the equivalent--to get you through the day. This should work even if there is only one or two days weekly that you are able to switch batteries and partially recharge for a couple of hours during the day.Note. Our Sony headphone must be switched off during recharging. Also it seems that perhaps the sound input to the TV needs to be plugged in during recharghing, although I am not yet sure about this.I have not yet used these 'aftermarket' batteries for very long. However, so far so good. The original Sony batteries conked out after two weeks. It seems likely these others cannot be worse, at least.I intend to update this review after several months of intense battery usage. So y'all be sure to come back again, hear?
