Great value!
The KUBEY Eris knife has great esthetics, tight tolerances and smooth action.I got the D2 steel blade + black G-10 handle version. The G-10 scales are very nicely machined, no sharp edges or corners. The flipper is very smooth and fast, it propels the blade to a completely open and locked position. Lockup appears to be solid. The blade is completely centered and the liner lock is easy to operate & does not hurt the thumb. There are no metal liners beside the liner lock. The blade is very sharp out of the box and the edges are evenly ground. You have to be careful, because this is a really sharp knife.I cannot comment yet how sturdy is the knife in the long term, nor the edge holding. Even if this is not an AISI D2 tool steel, but a Chinese approximation, it should still keep its edge much better than the AUS-8, 8cr13MoV or 9Cr18MoV steels commonly found in similarly priced knives. This is not a stainless steel, so it will require some care to protect it from rust. The only thing which think can be easily improved on this knife is the pocket clip. It seems a little bit flimsy, is is held by a single screw. However for the price I shouldn't be too critical, this is not a major issue for me.Overall this is a very nicely designed and executed slim pocketknife, a true gentleman's EDC.Highly recommend!

This Knife is Sweet!
WOW!!!!! 5 Stars simply is not enough for this amazing knife. D2 steel, amazingly sharp out of the box and a delightful blade shape. Great grippy g-10 handles with a subtle but effective pattern cut in to it. The knife was quick opening from the get go, but a couple of drops of zero friction oil sealed the deal. The screws and pivot all seem to be high quality (D 2?) steel as well. The ball bearings make opening and closing this knife addictive. The stainless steel liner is skeletonized making an already light knife just a tad lighter. There is a lovely little swoosh in the liner lock where your thumb fits to release the lock. It is buttery smooth, perfectly shaped, and assures an easy opening every time. The blade is also beautifully centred. It also comes with a very nicely placed and appropriately shaped lanyard hole.Further, from a personal aesthetic standpoint I find this to be a good looking knife. Were there any shortcuts taken here? Certainly not for under $25.As others have mentioned, I am not a fan of tip up knives and with this knife there is only one clip position. Further, the clip, although looking not too bad, it certainly is not a deep carry and is very tight to use. Also the thumb hole, at least for me, is virtually unusable, but it looks kind of funky and it lightens the knife a bit, so I can hardly consider it a negative whatsoever. Further, when the flipper action is taken into consideration, there is no reason to open this blade any other way.The jimping on this blade are minimal an appropriate. On the top of the handle by the blade they are just barely perceptible when holding the blade, which is actually pretty nice. The aggressive jimping on the flipper is unnecessary since the flipper opens so effortlessly and it actually digs into your hand a bit when holding the knife tightly. That's it, that's the negative on this sub $25 knife: The pocket clip isn't adjustable or tip down, and the jimping on the flipper is a tad aggressive.I have paid a heck of a lot more and received a heck of a lot less in a knife.Further, I cannot put this knife down. It is just so fun to open and use. I would also not be too worried about the "unisex small size" description. The usable blade is actually not that far off my SOG Flashback. The handle feel is not my favourite and yes it is a tad "small" but it is grippy and useful.I have not nor do I expect any sort of compensation for this review.I do however have one bit of advise to you: buy it.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased this beautiful D2, ball bearing pivot flipper knife/fidget spinner
A couple of weeks ago I purchased this beautiful D2, ball bearing pivot flipper knife/fidget spinner. This is an awesome knife, action is as smooth as warm butter and the factory edge was very acceptable.I only have 2 minor issues with it 1) it is 'tip up carry' only and I've had a couple of scary moments with 'tip up carry' and 2) the edges of the scales could've been finished smoother. To "fix" these issues I've ordered a different pocket clip and smoothed over the edges. Would've been truly awesome if it were available in safety orange.

Outstanding Value
Outstanding value. This is a well made knife. Good design. The action is better than some of my knives costing ten times as much. It’s so smooth and sharp, I cut my thumb closing it one handed when the blade dropped of it’s own weight on to the back of my thumb. That’s amazing especially for a knife of this price. D2 is a respectable steel when done right. Whether this has been done right is irrelevant because the price is so low, but considering the quality of the rest of the knife, my guess is the heat treat has been done right. If you are looking for a good user/beater, consider this.
