Install was a bit tricky at first, but overall it's great!
I attached this retractable tonneau cover to my 2017 F150 and am very happy with it!I had an overland-style rack already mounted, and I really struggled with installing this thing until I decided to completely remove the rack.Once the rack was out and I was dealing with an empty bed, install was a breeze. The tonneau cover itself looks great, retracts easily and has two locks to keep it secure.I also love that it has t-slots so that I can mount racks and other accessories to the rails on the sides of the bed. It's a fantastic value and really works as advertised!

High quality retractable cover
I have a "Roll n Lock" on my other F-150 and I put this product better than the R & L. It took me about an hour to install it with the help of my neighbor. The fit and finish on the product is very nice, and I mean it is really nice. I like the dual locks on this unit vs my other single lock using a rod. The cover panels are high quality and not covered with some vinyl type stuff like my other unit. The instructions are a bit lacking but if you have any mechanical skills, it will all make sense when you start. (I would suggest the company make a youtube install video!!) After washing the truck, I had a few drips toward the tail gate, but to me that is super acceptable as I don't think you could ever get it 100% water tight, lets be real. Even my roll n lock leaks. The drains were easy to install and work very good. I was impressed to see a small bag of future replacement (wear) parts and the extra set of keys. For $800.00 don't hesitate to purchase this cover and jump on it before the price goes up to the $1,400.00 competitors prices.Dirk

Could have been great
Well made, relatively simple installation, but whomever had the brilliant idea to use cheap-grade star head security fasteners should be fired immediately. They have a good product and then go cheap on the fasteners. This is why I’m docking a star. Installation could have been much smoother with decent or higher grade hardware. The lock mechanisms are also a bit tight because you really need to slam them down to fully engage the locks. This is a drawback for the wife.

This fits perfectly and looks great, too.
This retractable bed cover fits perfectly. It took approximately three hours to complete (no way can get from A to Z in an hour) but it was ultimately simple to do. I didn't even have to ask my girlfriend to help. She'd be the one who the IKEA boss would say "give that one to Magda to do" and let that guy (me) watch. But I was able to put it together with no issue.I think it looks really good too. I'm not a huge fan of top locking caps design (two each side - toward rear window) but I think is worth the cost compromise because the Ford equivalent, installed, is approximately 2k.In the end I am very pleased with this retractable bed cover and glad I decided to go this route (vs Ford accessory).

Pretty solid cover & half the price of the big name brands
I didn’t wanna spend $1200+ on a retractable cover, which was the least expensive of the big name brands online. It was even worse if I went to a truck accessories shop in town. I went on Amazon and found this one, which has some pretty solid reviews and decided to give it a shot. Installation was pretty easy, the manual was in English and easy to follow.Just had the truck in the driveway and the first band of tropical storm Beryl came through. I figured I’d check the bed to see if water got in & I was pleasantly surprised!

All the screws eventually fall out
I have had this Tonneau cover for 2.5 years now, and while I like how it operates, I have a few complaints.1. ALL the screws were not Loc-tite'd, so they all eventually back out of their positions and you lose them. I have Loc-tite'd most of what I have remaining, and have had to replace many of the screws with some from a hardware store, plus Loc-tite. The ones that come with the cover are security torx screws, which you can't just buy off the shelf, so I had to replace them with philips screws.2. The instructions were not clear for a quality installation. I don't recall any mention of sealing the cover to the bed rails or the back of the bed near the window, and that's where all the dirt and dust gets in.3. If you live in a dusty area, and do not seal them, your bed WILL be caked with dirt and dust. This happened quite quickly for me, as I live on a dirt road. But even when I don't do much driving off road, it still gets extremely dirty. I'll have to wash the bed with a power washer at some point to get it back to the right color.4. The clamps for the inner bed rails are absolute garbage. They're nothing more than a screw clamp, and do not work well. They're also made out of aluminum, feel very cheap, and are easy to bend.5. The rolling rails need to be greased all the time. This may be an issue with rolltops regardless, but if you don't do this, you will have a hell of a time trying to roll it up or pull it shut.6. The strap that is mounted in the middle underside of the cover is literally always in the way. It's annoying. I wish there was some way to have that retract somehow. I get its purpose, but there has to be a better way of doing this.7. There is no way to securely lock the cover in a partially open position. Only fully closed. You're just using hopes and dreams, and maybe dirt in the track that may prevent it from opening all the way as you drive. I would have appreciated more "stops" for the cover for the locks to catch on to. This comes into play if you are hauling some wood or something else that sticks diagonally out the back of the bed. In addition, I have had to replace the screws holding both locks in place because they also were eventually lost.I know this is a lot of complaints, and I actually do like the cover, I just wish it wasn't made so incredibly cheap. Losing yet another couple of screws is what prompted me to write this after 2.5 years.
