Stainless Steel Semi-automatic Egg Whisk - 3PCS Hand Push Rotary Whisk Blender (3 Pack)

I am old enough to remember when my mother had one of these whisks in her kitchen. I am in my 70's so as my mother always said, every 50 years the items come around again. It is the perfect whisk for whipping up eggs or other items without having to drag out the electric hand mixer. With the three sizes, one will be perfect for whatever you are mixing together.

Love the small one for my coffee creamer in the morning - instead of the battery operated frother - batteries are so expensive right now. Works amazing. The other larger ones we use for eggs in the am - if you whip your eggs with a little water added for scrambled they are super fluffy

I inherited a plastic auto-whisk when my aunt passed which I used for a decade or more before it broke. I think she used it at least that long as well. Being metal these may last forever, who knows? Getting 3 sizes seemed like overkill but single items weren't much less expensive so it made sense to get the 3-pack from a value standpoint. The main difference between these and the old one is that the old one released at the end of the pushing stroke and this one instead spins back in the opposite direction on the return stroke rather than releasing. Seems like rotating in both stroke cycles would be better/more efficient, right? In practice not so much. Being able to add to the momentum in the same direction actually works better for most items, like eggs. As for cleaning, you need to remember to operate them in a cup of water or soapy water very quickly after use to keep things from drying on. If you don't then they aren't particularly easy to clean. Debris collects on both ends where the wires attach and you need something like an ice pick or skewer to navigate those areas. At this point, I would still give 5 stars if one hadn't arrived bent. Packaging seemed good and 2 of the 3 were perfectly true but the 3rd was noticeably bent. I was able to bend it back almost straight but the damage doesn't seem like it could have come from shipping. It also indicates how easy they will be to bend in the future. The old plastic one I had was immune to this potential problem.

These are so useful scrambling eggs, stirring up pitchers of drinks, chocolate milk, cream soups etc

Although these are all of varied lengths, I only need one, so gave one to each of my girls as a stocking gift. I've used mine a couple of times and really like the tool!
