NutroUltra Adult Weight Management Dry Dog Food, Chicken, Lamb and Salmon Protein Trio, 30 lb. Bag

This is a good dog food for my pug who is always hungry. I have fed my dog this food for several years now and wouldn’t think of changing. It helps my dog have a beautiful coat.It doesn’t smell fishy. It stays fresh in our bin and I am confident that it is safe and keeps my dog healthy.

Not able to take my dog for sufficient walks to keep her weight down so vet said we need to do more with diet. This product worked well. She seems to like the flavor and the portion control got the weight off while providing proper nutrients.

So far my retired bloodhound loves this food. I have been trying to find the best food I can afford that doesn't have wheat, soy, fillers, etc in it as well as contain antioxidants and other good things that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Nutro Ultra is a definite good buy for a monthly subscribe and save -I pay $20 less than the regular price in the pet stores. The kibble is a good size - not too big or small and is more of an oval shape, which seems to make chewing it easier, and the food doesn't fall out of my hounds mouth while she eats. I am a very picky person when it comes to my dogs health and nutritional needs. This is one of the best brands available for the ingredients as well as bag weight ($70 for 20-24 lbs of food is just highway robbery in my opinion!). I have not had any problems with the bags themselves or the use by date (current bag best used by a year from now). The five stars are for the product itself.As for Amazon shipping, I give the shipping 3 stars. I have two issues. The first issue is the shipping box-it is huge and often is crushed and ripped in shipping. Thankfully so far the dog food bag is fine, but i am concerned about future bags. My other issue with Amazon shipping other items with the dog food in the same box. This is a 30lb bag and can crush or damage other items and they should be shipped separately.

We’ve tried several brands of dog food in the past with mixed or poor results. Many brands of dog food have caused our dog to suffer from some combination of diarrhea, constipation, and/or weight gain...After several months of trial and error experimentation, we believe we have finally discovered a healthy brand alternative for our chubby mini-labradoodle. The kibble in Nutro Ultra Weight Management is medium sized - perfect for our 45 pound dog. Our dog also seems to enjoy its taste. Exercise is important for dogs to maintain a healthy weight. That said, we believe a more important key to successful weight loss for our dog has been disciplined caloric restriction. Dogs are much like humans in this regard. 1/4 scoop 4x daily with several in between low-calorie treats has proven an effective long-term weight loss/stabilization strategy for us. Although the Nutro brand of dog food is expensive compared with others, we feel it worth the additional expense. Choose Nutro brand when you care enough to give your dog the very best. I have not been paid to review or rate this product. Highly Recommend!

It has been hard to find decent dog food. I hope this is a decent. That’s what it says and I’ve looked at everything but the price is ridiculous. There is no way that this should cost over $80. It should be way lower than that. A reasonable price for that dog food even though it is good dog food very excellent dog food but I mean people can’t afford that people are struggling so everybody needs to make their prizes according to what is going on and how much people are paying out for everything utilities, housing gas food, all sorts of things everything that you could imagine is way too high. People are hurting out here come on take it down to at least the reasonable price $65 would be fine. , or I will be forced to have to look other places for food or start making my own here at home because I’m not gonna keep breaking the bank and going debt trying to keep my dog dead not at that price and won’t your food is good on us to help out and lower those prices

My dog loves this food. Then again he is not a picky eater, but my younger dog is and he likes it too. I bought this for my 8 yr old heeler because we had him on a diet food from the vet (Hills metabolic) and that one worked awesome to get him down to the desired weight but was very expensive so I got this food to keep him at his healthy weight and it works great. I had tried regular food and he just gained a little again but I used this to get him to lose that little he gained and now maintain where he is at. I chose this out of all the weight management ones because it has healthy ingredients and 3 different types of protein instead of just one like most dog foods. I would recommend to anyone looking for their dog to lose a little weight or maintain the weight they are at

I ordered Nutro weight management for my Rosy. She is a lab/shepherd mix. She is 4 years old and already has arthritis of her left knee. Since it has limited her ability to run and play her weight was increasing. She was over her ideal weight by 7 pounds. This food has allowed her to maintain her weight at 63 pounds. She’s eager for her meals and seems to love the taste. I pay the price to ensure her comfort although I would be happier with a lower cost food. I also buy Nutro treats for her. Her coat is shiny and soft after eating Nutro. My goal is to give Rosy the best life I can.
