(Pack of 12) Natracare - Ultra Extra Pads Long 8 Pads by Natracare

Whilst these are great in terms of being plastic free, perfume free and having an organic cotton cover (and hence do not irritate the skin) I really cannot see how they can be described as 'ultra extra'. I purchased these because of that description thinking that they would be extra thick/absorbent. They are NOT. They are little thicker than a panty liner and are definitely not fit for use in the early days of your period - unless you are a lady who has very mild periods. I would have returned but don't see what I have to pay for return postage when the item's description is incorrect. I will use in the later days of my period. Please be aware of this before purchase.

Great product, always buy this because it’s a natural, cotton product- which is why supermarkets never stock it. They stock the rubbish, harmful ones.

These are great as all others tried had E171 ('whitening' agent) in the layer next to the skin.Why do manufacturers add this,as totally unnecessary???Is in most toothpastes, & medicines,talc,& many other things.Causes me very unpleasant,& painful skin reaction very quickly.If need or prefer loose underwear, a small square of double sided sellotape at each end of pad ,secures in place.Too much & it damages clothes when removing.Stays in place ,in closer fitting underwear without tape added.Great for the environment.Cannot dispose of down the loo. Wrap in paper & double bag after.So delighted to have found these.Highly recommended well worth the extra cost.Buying in bulk, make these less .Highly recommended.

This is not anyone's favourite subject but sanitary towels are an important part of many people's lives. I personally prefer wings but struggle with the placement of them and indeed the style of them at times. These fit where I want them to. They're soft, absorbent, and most of all better for the environment than a lot of products out there.
