Just what I was looking for. I wanted a small radio that I could use while out exercising but could also use at my work. Most of the pocket radios I looked at could only be used with earphones and didn't have an external speaker so wouldn't have been of use to play at work, so as this can be used with and without earphones I ordered this one and it has proven to be most useful.I love the neat little size, approx 6cm x 10cm. It can easily fit in my pocket and also has a handy little clip that allows me to attach it securely to the waistband of my fitness leggings. It is ultra light and runs on 2 AAA batteries.It comes with full instructions but is very intuitive to use. You can manually scroll through to find stations by using a short press on the up/down buttons on the side of the radio, or use a long press and the radio will automatically scan through to find the next station.You can use the carrying loop around your wrist but I use it to hang over a hook or handle at work so it is out of the way but the sound can be heard around my workplace, with the volume being easy to control using the buttons on the front.If you're looking for a high tech digital music player, this probably isn't for you. But if you need a trusty, neat little portable radio that you can use indoors and out, then this could be just what you need.

I didn't even think about sound quality when I was buying this. My iPod with FM radio broke and Apple doesn't make it anymore, nor do they make any device with dedicated FM or AM radio (I don't mean wifi or streaming radio, I mean real radio). So I was looking for a compact radio that I could put in a pocket while riding my bike. Wow, the first moment I started listening I immediately noticed how much warmer and how much more bass the sound was from this radio than my iPod. I couldn't really believe it. So with this, I get FM and AM radio (no AM on the iPod) and the sound is better. The only problem is that the earbuds with volume and pause controls on the wire that worked to control the iPod don't work on this. But the control buttons on this radio are big enough that I can feel the volume button and change it while it's in my pocket. I listened to it for about 6-7 hours yesterday and the battery charge hardly moved. Great radio.

My husband is spending time in hospital so bought this radio for him to walk around with. Very good sound and small enough to tuck in pocket or clip to waist band. He says he will use it around the garden when home. Good sound even when not using headphones with the added bonus of digital clock and alarm. Really pleased. Thinking of buying more as Christmas presents that don't cost the earth.

I bought this primarily for using at the football match and i found it does the job very well. I needed a magnifying glass to read the instructions, the booklet is very small. I found the instructions for the alarm confusioning and the only way to disable the alarm was to set the time set the time to zero or otherwise it would go off even if you didn’t want it to.

-The speaker offer a really good, clear, and static free sound quality. The volume also goes pretty loud.-It comes with a pair of headphones.- It has a wrist strap and clip.-The radio is enought small to put in pocket-It has a 3V DC slot if you want to operate the device without the use of batteries.-It's tuning is digital and can be set manually, automatically, or by memory. It also has a clock that can be changed from 12 hour to 24 hour (military time). It has a 90 minute sleep timer for automatic shut off. It has a key lock function. Lastly, it also has an alarm that can be set to radio or buzzer.but It does not come with the 2 AAA batteries needed to operate the device. 2) It does not come with the 3V DC adapter plug.

a great basic pocket AM/FM radio. camping? Fishing? Ballgame?just sitting around listening at home ?this is the one you want, take two AA batteries and the sound is excellentfor such a small speaker,. the tuning control isn't overly sensitive - somethingvery important to me. AM sensitivity could be a scratch better, but overalli'm very pleased with this purchase

I bought this for my grandfather.He loves this new radio,and it's suoer easy for him to use.Great for him.

Very good value for money in all areas except, unfortunately, sound quality. When listening with a good pair of earphones in a good FM reception area, there is, unfortunately, a low level background hiss and rustling noise, even in mono. For this reason, I've reluctantly returned it as it's too irritating. It may just be a bad unit and I'm considering ordering another one. Has anyone else experienced this?
