I read books 1 & 2 back to back but had to take a break before I read the final book in the series. I LOVED each one but I can't even begin to tell you how much each story tore me to pieces. The only thing that would make Tess & Q's story better would be a good proofreader. Please, Ms. Winters, consider it!!!Teas of TessWOW!!! What a phenomenally great book!!!!Shortly before she is to sit for her final exams Tess Snow's boyfriend surprises her with a vacation to lovely Cancun, Mexico. On their first day there, her boyfriend Brax (an immature twit, if you ask me) takes them for a crazy scooter ride & decides it cool to stop at some rundown cantina, even though Tess pleads with him to find somewhere else. Then he is stupid enough to leave her alone while he goes to the bathroom. This, of course, leads to Tess being kidnapped by human traffickers.While in the hands of the traffickers things get kind of scary a few times but, really, not as bad as it could have been. Then she gets sent to her new master & this is when things start to get interesting.This book is fantastic & I can not wait to read Quintessentially Q.Quintessentially QNot exactly what I expected but OH MY GOD!!!! Fantastic!!!I guess I thought that this would be MORE about Q & less about Tess. But that's okay because it was fantastic just the way it was. The things that Tess endured in this book were horrific!!! And the lengths Q was willing to go to to get her back were, in my humble opinion, heroic!!!! This book tore me to shreds & then slowly, gut-wrenchingly, put me back together. I can't wait to read the final installment of this tragically beautiful love story!!!!Twisted TogetherWOW!!! Now I remember why I didn't red this book immediately after Tears of Tess & Quintessentially Q. I couldn't even read it all in one sitting. This book is SO intense I had to take breaks from it just to be able to breath. But what an absolutely breathtaking, heartbreaking, uplifting (I don't have the adjectives) conclusion to one of hardest series I've ever read.This is one of those books, series, that tears you apart, painfully, & then just as painfully puts you back together again. But the way you are put back together is NOTHING like the way you were. I recommend it to anyone with the guts & the fortitude to read it. IT IS LIFE CHANGING!!!!!

This box set is amazing and definitely a must read for all the fans of Monsters in the Dark Series. If you haven't read this series yet, then this is the perfect set to dive into it. She weaves her dark romance around you and you never want to be released. Tess wasn't the only one kidnapped; I was taken by Pepper and I never want to be let go.QUINTESSENTIALLY Q:This book picks up right where Tears of Tess left off. We go deeper into Tess and Q's relationship and those that would rip them apart. Q promises to protect and keep her safe from all the monsters. When a tragedy happens will Q be able to hold to his promise or will he finally give in to monster inside?I thought Tears of Tess emotionally wrecked me but Quintessentially Q took me to a whole new level. This book shows the evils of the world and what lengths they will go to, to destroy everything that Q holds dear. I cried ugly tears in this book as Tess and Q fight to find their way back to each other. Another amazing book by Pepper Winters. I am definitely a fan for life. This is a must read book and series.TWISTED TOGETHER:Twisted Together continues from where Quintessentially Q left off. This is a series that should be read in order. Tess has finally moved forward and is ready to embrace all that she and Q are. Just when they are ready Q the unthinkable happens to Q and Tess has to be stronger than she ever imagined. Will she be strong enough to embrace who she truly is or will Q be lost to her forever?Incredible continuation of this series. This book moved me in ways I didn't think would happen. Pepper Winters has blown my mind yet again. Tess and Q's characters keep changing and developing as this series goes forward. It isn't only Tess that changes but as Q loves Tess, he changes in ways that were unexpected. I love this series so much and this book is great addition. Definitely a MUST READ!!!

This was a rough series to read, because of the content. I had a hard time accepting everything they all went through. I thought she handled the subject very well and I loved how strong Tess became. I may not agree on their lifestyle choices for me, but they just fit like 2 puzzle pieces. I had a tough time with certain parts of this series, but I made it through; because of how strong her writing is. It captured me even as it made extremely uncomfortable most of the time. I try not to judge anyone about there sexually choices. As long as it is their choice of course. Quite and Tess really grew as individuals as well as a couple. I liked how their recovery wasn't glossed over. They both had a hard time finding their way back to each other at certain points. This lifestyle that they have together is not something I would choose to have, but if it makes them happy...
