FilburFC-9540 Replacement DE Grid for Universal Pro Kit 48 Swimming Pool Filter

These absolutely rose above and beyond what I was nervous on buying that wasn’t OEM. They have filtered out so much garbage and algae this year it’s been a blessing to not have the pool acting up. And yes the picture shows it all. Had a very opening this year and it rinsed clean back to knew afterwards.

I was nervous and skeptical when I ordered this filter insert. It fit my filter unit perfectly! My filter runs much better and the pool looks so much cleaner than before. This was 100% worth the money, plus it was 1/3 the price of buying at a specialty store

Worked very well for a month and a half but recently checked the grids and noticed several broken pieces and holes in a couple of the grids, rendering them useless. Going to order brand name this time.

These fit exactly as described. For being after-market these are pretty good. They work exactly as they should with the DE material. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is not the product but the lack of picture or instructions. This was our first time replacing this type of filter and it was a pain until we were shown by a pool pro how to do it. Once he showed us, it was of course easy. Start including better instructions with pictures, and I think you'll have earned that 5th star.

Great replacement product. First time pool owner and I noticed my pool water would not clear up even though the chemicals reading were on point. Opened up the filter and found a few small holes in the existing filter grids. I felt like this was a very reasonable cost to replace them. Best tip I ever read for putting the grids back together is to take everything out of the filter and assemble the grids upside down. Went from being frustratingly impossible to pretty simple.

This seems to work well. It was not too difficult to install, just watch some youtube videos. Costs WAY less than Hayward replacements.
