Can you freeze cakes once baked?

I have frozen them once cooked and they defrost fine for my doggies when needed.

Are they hard as I have a small dog

No, they are more of a chewy texture.

I purchased one in March 2022, do they expire?as there are no expiry dates on the box?

Not a clue but my dog, who enjoyed it very much, eats rabbit amuse-bouches at every opportunity, so I’m fairy confident it will still be ok.

No it comes with just the cake mix so you can add your own topping to your dog's liking. I topped with peanut butter.
