Deunan and Briareos get picked up by Hitomi for Olympus. Everything seems hunky dory until some people start strapping on armor. All hell broke loose, Briareos get shot and Deunan strap on Guges armor to go out hunting. Afterwards, the duo start thinking they being used as guinea pigs. They’re not too happy about it.

Goodwill please stop putting stickers smack on the front of the cover of books you are selling :) Other then this great price and book came in the condition it was described.

Shirow is the best artist to help us ask the question and maybe the only one who can help us answer it.

A Classic cyberpunk manga that hold up very well. WW3 is over with no nukes! Two surviving soldiers are plucked from the wastelands and brought to paradise! All is not well in the new Garden of Eden. Power struggles between humans, cyborgs, and fibroids with a giant supercomputer called Gaia managing everything. Excellent science fiction with cyberpunk techno adventures!

This is such a great series of manga. I had lost these books and was so happy when I did a search on Amazon for them. Shirow Masamune is one of my favorite manga artist/authors. His ability to make scifi seem real is astounding. Reminds me Arthur C Clarke's books.

My husband Loves these comics so I decided to buy him the lot for a Christmas present. I bought this one back on december 11th 2013 when it told me it was back ordered, but it stated ORDER NOW and receive by January 7th. While I understand the back order I do not understand the sudden price jump. I tried to purchase it for $14 and after 2 weeks it jumped up to $400 making it silly to purchase. I ended up buying it from anime castle for a mere $20. The series itself is wonderful! If you ever get the chance pick it up and get lost in its exciting world!

in my opinion, the books get better and better as they go. amazing art, very well-thought-out futuristic setting, and especial attention paid to general engineering principles. of course, it's science fiction, so you have to suspend a little disbelief, but the attention to detail is splendid.

Loved it. I really don't have much to say other than that. I prefer the manga as Deunan is a lot more with it than the anime as opposed to being weaker.

This manga is a real classic and the entire story is very engaging.

Dies ist ein klassischer manga auf englisch und lässt sich gut lesen.Es ist ein futuristisches Szenario, mit leichtem Endzeitcharakter.Das einzig negative ist das dieses Ebook, ganz so wie alle Mangas in die andere Richtung geblättert wird. also von links nach rechts.Das bedarf einiger Eingewöhnung.

日本語で述べます。ご勘弁を。今のところオリジナル＝日本語作品の方はまだ電子化されていないようなのと、こちら英語版のファイルサイズが結構あるので高解像度だろうと期待したのとで、自分の英語力のことは無視して買いました。で面食らったのが、ダブルタップすると１コマごと拡大表示するという機能で；1) その代わりなのか、１ページをそのまま拡大する操作には応じない。また、Fire HDX で試した限り、画面を横長に構えてもこの本は縦長のまま。2) コマによって拡大率が違う。大きくなってない場合もある。3) 拡大したコマは長方形の枠で表示するが、元のコマが常に長方形だとは限らないわけで、ちょっとズレることもある。と。なんだか、要らないと思うけどなぁ。こういう方がイイというニーズが有るからこうなっているんですかねえ。Book 2 以降もホントは欲しいけど、コレじゃ読む時イライラしそうで。保留だなぁ。
